Aulani - Hidden friends in the lazy river, a mini pic report

Well, it has been almost a year since our lovely Aulani vacation and I still find myself thinking about how amazing it was. I am in the very early planning stages of a trip back so I was going over our photos and realized I had a bunch of pics of the hidden friends from the lazy river. For those of you who have been, you know what I mean but for anyone yet to go, you may not want to see these ahead of time. It was such fun for us to float along and find them all that the kids wanted pictures, so much so that it became a bit of an obsession! I am the first to admit, these are not the greatest photos and you may have to look carefully to make out some of them but I thought I would share...

Honestly-my kids are teens and enjoyed it like they were little again-they found new ones every day!

I wish I remembered! It does kind of look like it could be a turtle. The thing about these rock renderings that they are not clear from all angles, and as you get closer they kind of reveal themselves. They are very subtle and so well done.
