Aulani booking question

Is it there a better way to book the Villas at Aulani than just thru the Disney site? Is there somewhere where owners list them for rent? Or is that the dvc point rental I am hearing about?

We are looking at Christmas or New Years 2013 or April 2014. I was on the Disney site today and they had no availability for Christmas 2013. Are they booked already?
