August waitlists

I put us on 2 waitlists for our NO-Kids trip Aug 2-6...both for Kidani--studios..one savannah and one standard. I figured I'd do Kidani since it had more of a chance coming thru than jambo.

I know we are going in prime season ... Is there any way this is going to come thru?

We do have a ressie at SSR and I'm ok with that but we really wanted to try someplace different this time.

I waitlisted Hilton Head for a studio the last week of July and it came through about 1 month ago. Last week I waitlisted for Boardwalk in mid-July and it came through in a day. I would still be hopeful especially until the 31 day window. I think with this economy more waitlists are coming through b/c more people are canceling. I was surprised when I called last week for the second week of July and I had the choice of every resort except for one of the nights at Boardwalk and no BCV but almost everything else was available.

We also have two waitlists going on for August. These are two separate reservations, different time frame for each of my sons.

My oldest son is booked middle of August at SSR. He is fine with it but wanted BWVs or BCV. (This reservation was made a month ago).

My second son is booked end of August - same time as us - at Jambo, is wailisted for Kidani (to be closer to us). He will be fine there also. Just wanted to avoid any going back and forth. (This reservation was made about two months ago).

Not sure if either one will come through since I wailisted the entire stay.

You are good. I check it at least twice a day.

I feel better I only check 1-2 times a day. We are waitlisted for Aug. 11-16 for Kindani. We are in Jamba house, it will be no bug deal if we don't get it, just wanted to try it out.
