We are going down in the end of Aug.(27-02) and I was wondering if I should be making a plan to follow for the parks. We have been down twice before, both non-busy times(01/05 & 12/05). Although in Dec. we hit it during the POP Warner bowl. It was still not crowded, and we kinda just "flew by the seat of are pants :rolleyes1 " both times. Should we for go this tactic in Aug. and actually make some sort of plans. If any of you veteran Aug. goers can help me out it we be greatly appretiated. Thanks. :thumbsup2

Hi,

The last few days of your trip will be spilling into Labor Day weekend, so the parks will be much more crowded than the first few days you are there.

Also, with the free dining plan, many others have posted that even when the parks are not that crowded, the table service restaurants are booked solid. So you should definitely make as many ADRs as possible in advance or you will risk being shut out, especially at peak dining times.

Hello fellow NY'ers
We are also going the end of Aug. (22-29) and made ADR's for every day. This was before free dining was announced. When we were their in Oct. last year although the crowds in the parks and lines felt light the restaraunts were packed. When in doubt plan ahead. You can always canel if you need to.

Thanks for the input so far :thumbsup2 . We have are ADR's all set, so hopefully we won't run into problems there. I'm was just worried about the crowds.
