August or September?

Please help us choose a date for our first trip to the World. Our party will consist of 12 people- 7 adults and 5 kids.

Our options are the 3rd week in August or the 3rd week of September 2007.

Tell me the crowd and weather differences we will be looking at.

I've been there for both. September was much cooler for us (I don't know if it was unusually cool though-- we were between two hurricanes). I would pick September, for (at least for us) milder temp, less rain (at least this was the case for us), and lower crowds. We didn't have long lines either week, but the resort was much more crowded for us on the last week of August vs. September-- although this could also be because in August we stayed at ASMO and in September-- Wilderness Lodge. Still, I prefer September.
