Thank you so much!!!!

My Ketchikan excursion is not set until 1:45PM and I know the DCL site still does not show an arrival date.

you're welcome! although others have stated various times for arrival at ketchikan. so maybe the dcl website may not be updated...

The way I understand it arrival time in Ketchikan is changing per cruise. I'm thinking it has to do with tides, but not positive.

I am getting so excited reading all the feedback from the first cruise.:yay::banana:

But I can't book anything until May 26 (cruise newbie and all that). Hope you haven't already booked everything up ahead of me!!:dance3:

YOu beat me to posting the different arrivals times for various cruises. Not sure if it's due to tides or not but that sounds like a reasonable explination.

I just got the info from the dcl website...? Maybe u have more updated time...I don't know...

I just checked my reservation confirmation from December and the arrival time says 12:10 for Ketchikan. The confirmation when I paid off my cruise alst month also says 12:10 arrival time.

Is it still considered beating you if I posted it TWELVE hours ago? ;)

Don't worry, I'm sure there will still be things left! My parents and sister are newbies too so they can't book until 75 days out. :)

I pulled out my Passporter for my mom and my sister to start reading. My mom was getting really excited just paging through it.

Did anybody buy this year's Passporter? Is it even out yet?

Thank you for leaving some stuff for us newbies! I ordered this year's Passporter but it STILL isn't out. If they don't get it out soon I will probably cancel my order. Is it worth picking up last year's?:confused3

I would pick up get last year's copy. There is a lot of information about the ship and this very good. I remember before my first DCL cruise, I read it from cover to cover about the ship, the excursions, not so much though.

Hope that helps a little! :)

The 2010 edition didn't ship until sometime in August (if I remember). It was very frustrating as I was hoping to review their information on excursions before I had to book for the WBTA. Unfortunately, it did not come in time and when I did get it, the excursion information was basically the same as what was on the DCL website so it didn't really help with that.

I will say that it is helpful especially for people who have never been on DCL before. There is a wealth of information on the ships, activities, rooms, dining, etc that basically never changes. And it's well organized and all in one place so easy to find. I would pick up last year's edition if that's the only information you need.

Thank you all for the advice on the Passporter guide. I'll see if I can pick up a 2010 version though I think I've probably got all the tips I need from these boards!:goodvibes
