August 8-15, 2015 Car Rental @ Hertz best price but... Wow!$279

I've been looking and looking and the best I can find for the week of August 8 (noon) to the 15th (2:30) is $279 at Hertz with AAA discount on a FULL size car.(only $13 more than the 2 classes below) Would go down to mid level as long as I could get 3 suitcases in and fit a tween and teen comfortably in the back seat. Anyone going the same week and shocked by the prices? I've been keeping an eye on this week and the prices have gone down a little but not much. What's going on in Orlando this week?

I got a full size for $101 but picking up at Wyndham in DTD and dropping off at Tampa (I would think it would be extra because of that but got a great rate). Ours is 8/31 to 9/6 though.

I've noticed the price jumps with the difference in time of pick up/drop off. Can you get your times closer?
