Can I come too? Pretty Please? Huh? Huh?

I'm a nice, polite Canadian 40-something with a definite weakness for chocolate souffle!:hyper:

Arlene
Absolutely!! :hyper:

Hey Susan have you spoken to Janice recently about how many rooms we will be taking? We seem to have a few new people on our cruise, maybe some info about our group at the H.I. San Pedro would be helpful to them...Mark

I want to come too. Souffle, just the word sounds tasteful.

Welcome TDC Nala there are several singles on the cruise and a number of just 2s. Like us. We are glad you are coming and I'm sure there will be plenty to do. Probably too much. Be sure to put in for the eye dropper of Zinfandel. Everyone who signs on to the thread is entitled. Right boys? (yes you two in the corners) LOL

Off to clean shrimp (hey Rae) and cut up Halibut for tonights kabobs. Never done this before could get interesting. Estelle

The chocolate souffle just brought me out of lurking. Good thing I have this October's cruise to get my souffle fix before the Panama Canal! I will have one or two for all of you that don't have a cruise before the repositioning cruise. :teeth:

Welcome TDC Nana!!

My tub is available also.

I didn't realize that about Palo either. What sort of drink do you usually get to go along with a souffle? Can you just get a latte, coffee, etc?

CHOCOLATE SOUFLEE, a dessert to die for!!!! I am in trouble now, if i am on this cruise for 2 weeks!! Us women better start a fitness program together!! LOL!!

Anyway, just plain ole' cold milk for me with my souffle!!

That's news to me as well about the Palo bar. I don't drink, but ginger ale goes pretty well with chocolate souffle, don't ya think?

Coffee or champagne goes well with the souffle! ::yes::

I guess what I really should have said was "can you just order a coffee at the bar and get the souffle or do you have to get more of a bar tab going to order the dessert?"

How lucky you all are to have actually had the chocolate souffle! I'm 16, so I never had one on our cruise. HOWEVER, I will be turning 18 on the August cruise and am planning on going to Palo's to celebrate my birthday. I can't wait to try the souffle and the dessert pizza!

Becky

I'm sure the Palo serving staff wouldn't mind it even if you just ordered a glass of water with your souffle. At least in my experience, they'll do whatever it takes to make sure you have a good time and are happy.

Becky--

just a note to let you know that I received your e-mail. I'll be adding your info in not too long!

And what a way to celebrate your 18 th birthday! At Palo no less! :hyper:

OH my I read that story when it was originally posted. Laughed and told the rest of the family. We all commiserated with EmmasGrammy. Especially those of us who are large busted. Phil and I have never been to any of the water parks. Partly because we usually go to WDW in February and also because Phil wears glasses. If he takes them off he can't see. We actually went swimming on vacation some years ago, he and the girls and I were the only people in the pool. He called me by the wrong name.
I think I'll have my souffle with a glass of milk that sounds really good.
Our shrimp and Halibut skewers came out quite well. Very tasty.
Talk to you all tomorrow. Estelle

Thank you so much, Andy!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I had a hideous day at work today - I laughed so hard at this story! Lynda has a fabulous flair for storytelling and a terrific sense of humour to share it all with us!

Lynda - I can somewhat sympathize. In my younger days, I risked that style of swimsuit. A large wave in the Bahamas caused a similar topless result. I've never dove back under the water so fast!!!:teeth:

Arlene

I remember when EmmasGrammy's story was first told......I laughed my head off...and it's still way too funny the second time. I can't help but tease her a bit now and then. This is certainly a DIS Hall of Fame story in my book. Lynda, have a great cruise. We all love ya. ::yes::

I didn't realize we had a celebrity on our cruise! That story had me laughing out loud!

Looks like I will be at Palo Bar with Ivannova most of the time anyway!LOL Wanna join us TDC Nala?

Most likely, since the only bar I ever passed was an exam.

By the end of the cruise the bar seats will have our names engraved on them

I'll have to pry the plaque off of my chair at the Adventurers Club.

I see Trimobia made the locale list.

I like being the only denizen of a parallel universe here, but I'm actually in Virginia, if you want an accurate count of nonmagical *magical* states of the Union (or commonwealths).

Hey Jazzman- The estate of another musician has partnered with a wine maker and produced a Zinfandel that is supposed to be excellent. He had a pretty good rep as a musician, I wonder if the wine is half as good? Here's the write up:

J. Garcia 2001 Zinfandel
Sonoma County, California
Winemaker's Notes
Jerry Garcia was an artist of surprising range and depth. In addition to his musical accomplishments, Jerry produced hundreds of works of art over the years. To celebrate his extraordinary creativity, Clos du Bois has joined with the Garcia Estate to produce a series of special bottlings featuring Jerry's inimitable artwork.

All of the grapes for this wine were harvested from premium Sonoma County vineyards primarily in the Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys.

Our 2001 Zinfandel is a broad, rich wine packed with succulent fruit and spice. The aromas are saturated with white pepper, black cherry, walnut and vanilla. This is a concentrated, opulent Zinfandel that captures the essence Sonoma County.

Hi Everyone,

Oooh, Palo chocolate Soufflé. That is just one dessert that I just love and have to have. Now I really can't wait until my cruise in October.
