Good Morning!

Back to work on a Monday. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

We spent several hours yesterday cleaning out our pond. What a lot of work. It has not been done since last Spring. Lots of gunk at the bottom. My fist are breathing easier today

I am up for the Dismeet in Colorado! Lets do it. Wish I could attent the Pa one too!! There will be lots of Dis'ers there!

To all of you Pa people, warmer weather is coming! It finally warmed up here in Cleveland. Today it is supposed to be 85 and sunny.

Something like that might be a good idea. I love coming to this thread and doing all the chit chat about the cruise. I enjoy all the personal stuff....but sometimes, if I miss a day or 2, I get so far behind. Also, It's hard to go back and try to find a post that had some info in it that you wanted to see again. We could almost have an entire message board dedicated to this cruise...LOL. There are so many of us going.

I think that some of the other cruise threads have done just that. Set up a free message board so that they can have multiple threads on various subjects. It may be that the May 14th repositioning people did this and I think the 10-night Holiday cruisers may have one as well.

Denine are you in Cleveland? Our youngest DD spent two years at CWRU. Had some medical problems and is finishing college locally. But we have been in Cleveland a number of times. I liked the city.

Yes Target had what we wanted. So I am $100 poorer. Youngest DD wanted to get a Nintendo Game Cube. So I bought the cube and she bought the memory card and three games. Then we discovered that the only tv that we could plug it into is in our bedroom. I get to play the games. I let her come in and play hers too.
Off to visit the usual laundry and ironing. Never ceases. Estelle

DCI = Drum Corps International. It is the Drum and Bugle Corps, like the best of the best marching brass and drums on steroids. My connection, my son the percussionist. And my HS band history.

Finals are the best of the best corps competing for Champion bragging rights. The "Summer Music Games" are usually held in MAdison, Wisconsin (Madison Scouts, a great Corps) or more recenly in Orlando in conjunction with Disney's Magic Music Days. I had intended to see finals last year, but my son couldn't make it, and my trip ended up being a week later. For more information, check www.dci.org If you have kids interested in music, this will blow them away. If you have kids interested in Flag Corps, this will blow them away. THese kids march their hearts and souls out every summer, and often the finals are shown on Thanksgiving Day on PBS stations.

This thread is getting harder and harder to keep up with! I go away for a couple of days and have a LOT of catching up to do when I get back. I don't even want to think about how much I'll miss when we go to WDW for a week in August.

Hang a card on your bedroom door before retiring at night, wait for room service to wake you in the morning with fresh coffee.

Ok......... I tried this last night and it didn't work. The card was still hanging there this morning. Maybe I'm on the room service "black list". Hmmmmm.......... guess I should have tipped better the last time.

Has anyone ever been to the Mexican ports we will call on? Is there duty free shopping there? I'm trying to get an idea how much I'm going to need to get at Costco in CA (I really don't want to pay DCL prices for all my drinks...... and I tend to drink more than a thimble full!!)
