Is this post number 1500 already on this thread??? Yep, sure looks that way, and I now see we are on page 101!!!

Renee': You sure did quite well on the garage sale!

Panama Canal fact: The US began construction in 1904 and completed the project in 10 years at a cost of $387 million.

I'm assuming a lot of us booked through Dreams Unlimited. Does anyone know if we'll get a stateroom gift from them? Last year we got one because there were 8 or more cabins booked through them. I seem to remember that the gift program stopped but can anyone confirm?

kpgclark-- I just pm'd you with our information. Thanks again for the work.

I was hoping today would be a nice day with some sun but no such luck. Gray and yucky.

This thread keeps growing and growing. 1500 posts is fantastic. We rock!!
Off to Target just to look. LOL Estelle

Hi guys, happy hot Sunday!

I just got an email from a fellow diser in England. He, too, will be joining us on this cruise. I told him to stop by and make his presence known.

I got a wonderful gift from DU one time. I have heard rumors that it was discontinued but don't have any confirmation on it.

So, I present
The top 5 reasons the Westbound cruise is better than the Eastbound :)

5. We are less likely to get hit by a hurricane
4. We're First!!!
3. When we say what month we are crusing in, we don't have to answer the question "Which Year?"
2. We get to check-in at the DCL terminal.
1. Everyone knows that the adventurous "Go West"

:duck:

Um, guys? Are we going to take this? :teeth:

Oh, and I forgot...

I'm sure you may have seen this on the main Disney Cruise Line forum but I wanted to post it here too.

If you're a fan of hearing your favorite Disney tunes on the cruise, you might want to send DCL an e-mail concerning their recent change.

Music in the Halls.

Here is the Contact Us page at the Disney Cruise Line website.

The real # 1 reason that the Eastbound Cruise is superior to the westbound cruiseis :

We have Verandah Man !!!!!

Here's the #1 reason the East bound is better. When the Westerners are all done with their cruise we'll still have ours to look forward to!

moocow posted that the people from the other thread (us!!) were being hurtful??? I don't think anyone was being hurtful to anyone on the other thread..anything said on this thread or the other one is strictly for fun!! Lighten up!

Nope, definitely got tired of hearing Old Blue Eyes in the hallways day and night. Where do I write?

OK, here's mine:

The REAL reasons the Eastbound Panama Canal Trip is better than the Westbound Trip:

5. We sail in August and will have warmer weather at the ports! (I've sailed twice in May and once in August. August has much warmer water! Especially at Castaway Cay. ::yes:: )

4. We have the whole cruise to look forward to the ultimate tropical paradise, Castaway Cay, and get to experience the island as the last port of call, as Disney intended.

3. DCL will have worked out all of the "kinks" that they encountered during the May Panama Canal voyage.

2. As Kpgclark so eloquently said, "When the Westerners are all done with their cruise we'll still have ours to look forward to!"

And the number one reason,

1. We get to be onboard when the Disney Magic is welcomed back to her one and true home! :hyper:

Whooo hooooo! ;)

Only done in good fun guys! We know that both of the repositioning cruises are going to be phenomenal!

Oh my gosh, you were right about them thinking we were nasty. Here's her quote:

Regarding the people from the "other" 14 day cruise, some of the things they are saying whether in fun or not, are uncalled for and hurtful. It would appear "that" group would enjoy the Amstel tour!

Was she referring to me saying they were wimps or something like that? Geesh, anyone hear of a joke?

So now Three Circles has a disclaimer on his post! What is the world coming to?

ThreeCircles...good job on the disclaimer!! Also wanted to tell you what a good job you did on the website...I still have to email you our information!!

kpgclark...I couldn't believe it when I read it either and I went back and re-read it today and sure enough she said that we were mean spirited. The only reason that I started to bust Peter (hygiene99) who is the lurker between the two threads is because we have cruised with him last October and will see him in a few weeks when I am in NH and am cruising with him again in October...a nicer couple you couldn't meet and they are very generous to those less fortunate. Who knows what set her off but I certainly don't feel that anyone was mean spirited or meant to be...some people really need to lighten up because life is too short!

Isn't someone on the cruise from New Hampshire? We will be in Lincoln for a week starting June 20th!! PM me if you want to meet for lunch or to meet and I will give you the resort phone number or my number at home!!

I know that this is probably stupid but what is the Amstel tour that she refers to? Looks like it involves something with drink...she certainly shouldn't offer any tour which includes booze to this group!!

This is just my humble opinion, but maybe everything would be better off if we stayed on our own threads, before someone's feelings really get hurt. Both cruises, going east or west, will be wonderful and magical, isn't that what it is all about anyway???

Thanks for the compliments Sarah'sMomfrom PA (and everyone else as well)!

Kpgclark--

Seems like we have to put disclaimers on everything, huh? :) I would hate to be sued in court.

Just an update to let you know that we've added new cruisers to the <a href="http://www.threecircles.net">"Bringing the Magic Home" Cruise Site</a>!

Lynn (Luv2Dream) also added a picture of her family as well.

Sarahs Mom, please check your PMs.

Westbound cruisers - please realize that we will have no more fun than you. We are a tad more chatty, and we seem to be having a lot of joking here, but I don't believe that anyone here thinks our cruise is better than yours. I have read your thread, and it seems like you all are getting ready for a good time as we are. I appoligize if I said anything out of line. I hope you will accept my saying I am sorry.
