PC wasn't one of the options on the dropdown menu. But if I call and speak with someone I'm sure it will be easier.

go with Mexico then.

Life's running away without me....I haven't had time to keep up with this thread, although I do check in every once in a while to TRY to get updated. Have to say, I'm getting a bit worried.....if I haven't joined the sisterhood and I'm not one of the 10 people who post here on a regular basis, will I still be allowed to have FUN on the ship, or will I be an outcast????

Had a certificate for one week free in a two bedroom any where thru DVC. Booked it for an awesome resort in Mexico. That was a few weeks before we got on this cruise, so decided against Mexico, although it was a non- refundable certificate. Gave it to my mom, who just told me she can't go after all. It's for the end of May, and I have since booked to go to DL over Memorial Day week-end at DL. So, do I go to Mexico, or throw it away and stick with 3 days at DL. Life is full of such difficult decisions!!!

PS; OT....My baby's adoption will be FINAL this Friday....Hip Hip Hooray!!!!!!

:cheer2: :cheer2: Congrats on your precious baby's adoption! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Don't worry about "keeping up" with this thread. You know a whole lot of it is "jibberish" :teeth: and Tracy's awesome newsletter is THE BEST tool for keeping up to date with the happenings of this merry band.

EVERYONE will have fun on this cruise! It's definitely not limited to the ten who keep this thread as long as it is! :rotfl: BTW - you're already a member of the Sisterhood. We include all the women Fools!

Tough decision about which holiday to enjoy at the end of May ... wish I had to make such a choice! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time whatever you decide.

jason, Like the way you set up the Chat rooms!!! Great job!! :)

Just called and booked five us on the ATV excursion for Cabo. B.D. is also going on this. The language barrier, plus the phone line sucked, but if I don't hear back from them within a few days I'll call back. Never took Spanish in school here, just French. Somehow that wasn't going to help me with this call :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

So, I just got an email from one of our friends for the 10 day cruise. She was rubbing it in that they only have 52 days until their cruise through the PC. I don't mind. We don't want to go on the practice cruise anyway. ;) We had great table mates and awsome servers on the 10 day. It was the first time we clicked so well with our table mates. We were LAUGHING it up every night at dinner. Our head server LOVED it....one of our table mates is allergic to mango, papaya and I think it was peaches. We had fun with that. We're planning to request our servers for the PC cruise (that's why we haven't linked our dining ressie's). Both the other 2 groups are going on the "practice cruise". It was neat to find out how much we had in common with them.

Anyway...don't know why this was important..... :confused3

Some jokes for the day....

When Ted was putting flowers on his Grandmother's grave he noticed a man, very distraught, in front of a tombstone several yards away. The man was on his knees, hands tightly clasped in front of him, rocking back and forth, head tilted upward to heaven, tears streaming down his cheeks, moaning softly, "Why did you die? Why did you die?" Over and over again.
Ted was overcome with emotion at this sight and went over to the poor man to try and console him. "Why did you die? Why did you die?" bellowed the man again and again. Ted gently put his arm around the man and half whispered to him, "My Grandmother is buried just over there. Is a loved one of yours buried here?"
"No," sniffled the man, "It's my wife's first husband."

A guy was in a cave, looking for treasure. He found an old lamp, rubbed it, and a genie came out. The genie said "I will grant you three wishes, but your ex-wife will get double." The man agreed, and said "I wish I had a mansion." The genie granted it, and his ex-wife got two mansions. The man said "I would like a million dollars." The genie again granted it and his ex-wife got two million dollars. Then the man said, "Scare me half to death."

Two boy scouts went on a nature hike in the hills picking hickory nuts.
Along the way, they filled their small pails and then started to fill their pockets and shirts.

When they could hold no more nuts, they started down the country road until they came across a cemetery. The boys decided that would be a good place to stop and rest and divide out the nuts.

The two boys sat in the shade of a large oak tree and unloaded their pockets and buckets by dumping all of the nuts in a large pile.

In the process, two of them rolled away and rested near the road. The boys then proceeded to divide out the nuts. "One for you. One for me. One for you. One for me."

As they were doing this, another boy was passing by and happened to hear them. He looked into the cemetery, but could not see the boys, because they were obscured by the tree. He hesitated a moment and then ran back to town.

"Father! Father!" he yelled as he entered his house. "The cemetery. Come quick!"

"What's the matter?" his father asked.

"No time to explain," the boy frantically panted. "Follow me!"

The boy and his father ran up the country road and stopped when they reached the cemetery. They stopped at the side of the road and all fell silent for a few moments. Then the father asked his son what was wrong.
"Do you hear that?" he whispered. Both people listened intently and heard the Scouts. "One for me. One for you. One for me. One for you..."

The boy then blurted out, "The devil and the Lord are dividing the souls!"
The father was skeptical but silent -- until a few moments later as the Scouts completed dividing out the nuts and one Scout said to the other, "Now, as soon as we get those two nuts down by the road, we'll have them all."

Little Emily was complaining to her mother that her stomach hurt. Her mother replied, “That’s because it's empty. Maybe you should try putting something in it." The next day, the pastor was over at Emily's family's house for lunch. He mentioned having his head hurt, to which Emily immediately replied, "That's because it's empty. Maybe you should try putting something in it."

My DH said he would be a judge, unless anyone is opposed to two members from the same household. We don't think alike and would judge independently, but we'll understand if anyone is opposed to this.

AskAGeek is in. But, no cornering the market! ;)

All--

We now have a Special Event Chat scheduled for this coming Saturday. It will be a combined East-West chat in the Special Event Chat Room. Feel free to spead the news on the Practice Cruise Thread and invite them to the discussion. Maybe this will help increase the goodwill between the two groups. ;)

I love it, inclusive chat!

PS - Loon, no issues here!

Just in time for the cruise - I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo lucky. Wanna help me string this guy along?

Marsha--

Is that from your 3c e-mail account?

All--

Mark wanted me to post an example picture of what the Name Shirt will look like...

nameshirt.jpg

Of course, this is just an initial example to explain the shirt a bit better. We'll probably do the names in various colors, perhaps do a front pocket "Ship of Fools" logo, and may put some sort of divider between each name.

No, my good old Yahoo and it didn't even get dumped into my bulk folder. I already responded, told him the money will be usefull to pay the taxes and fines I owe the US Gov't for the felony embezzelment charges that DH is in the slam for (but I do know where the money is) and for the twins to get some surgery! Think he will fall for it?

I like the Tee Shirt, with the DIS IDs it is cute.
