Grumbo, Allan is asking what REAS costs and, apart from early booking of excursions, etc., what are the benefits? I know we can find this elsewhere, but you are the fount of all knowledge on this board.

But the REAS is $399.00 US

You get to reserve a dinner at Palo
Have Romantic Breakfast One Morning
Turn Down Service the night before with Rose Petals all over the bed
Plus there is a Gift Basket waiting for you in your statroom (can't remember what is in it)
Plus you get a couples massage!
Get to reserve which dining rotation you would like.

The best part is being able to reserve everthing along with the concierge guests!

I booked it as a special treat for myself!

Mel told me to do this in the Chat room last night. I think she wanted to get the "Pin Heads" going. I told her that would be cruel but she said "Hey DO IT!"

The Gift basket had a Mickey/DCL Picture frame, some shell chocolates and other trinkets.
You can also choose your dining rotation in advance. Don't know if that is really important on this cruise as their are so many dinners, but you can if you wanted.
I honestly don't know if it is a good deal, monetarily, or not. We were going to do the Spa portion anyway, the Palo ressies in advance as well as the other ressies is good plus Breakfast in your room is a nice treat. I'm a real obsessive planner wanting everything in place in advance, so this helps my angst

I hate when Melinda starts trouble like that. She's infamous for it too!! Just the other day she way talking about putting her extra pins up for sale on e-bay now, so she could get the prices WAY up. Well I googled it first and then thought of looking at the about me page. Ha! I was thinking of starting a bogus ebay account with the name "annoyedwestboundcruiser" and then buying it now and seeing if he'd get the hint (of course never paying for it). But I'm too lazy to go through all of that trouble, plus it's against ebay rules and he's not REALLY doing anything against anyone's rules.
