Regarding the Advueu Portable DVD player...I just printed out the rebate coupon and it says that the rebate can be submitted within 30 days of purchase....it does not have to be submitted by April 30th....wish I read that before I spent the $9.99 for overnight shipping....oh well. Just wanted to let anyone know if they are purchasing it you don't have to spring for the overnight shipping and you will still have time to submit the rebate for $30.00.

The DVD player must be purchased between 4/8 and 4/30. Here is a link to the product.

Do people think you are making money off these?....that is crazy. I, for one, and I would hope the rest of us, appreciate all the work you guys are doing in organizing all these products for us.

J.G.E. is only making a marginal profit on any excursions and/or products we are distributing in reference to this cruise. We are also making contributions to Jazzman and Grumbo's favourite charity with some of the profits.
Please remember J.G.E. is Just Good Entertainment for your family and any profit or extra cash gouged, uh I mean accrued from our hard work is a price I'm willing to let you as a consumer pay.

Cheers,
Grumbo ;)

Well, we decided to change our itinerary and go to LegoLand on Thursday instead of shopping all day. I figured my credit cards might like the break. Besides, the outlet is open until 9 PM and Downtown Disney is open late too so we can still go shopping. :cool1: Anyway, I got a great deal on tickets using a discount I found on the web. Haley can drive a car and even get a Lego Driver's License! :earseek: Mapquest says it's about 1 1/2 hours from HISP, but I'm figuring longer with traffic. I wanted to drive around and check out other places anyway, so this will work for us.

Sure, one of my favorites for geeky things is:
www.slickdeals.net

Go to the forums section, hot deals, sometimes I miss out on stuff if I only browse the home page.

I don't think anyone would think anyone is making money off merchandise, BUT, because some of the items are available at "stores" on the web, there could be a question. Honestly, I like doing the keeping track of everything (I am a tad anal) and getting stuff done. It keeps me busy, I am thrilled that my lanyard idea was acepted and has been popular (208 lanyards spoken for so far), and I LOVE gettting the notes form people in their envelopes, I am getting to know everyone just a bit more. So far everyone is so excited about this cruise, and that keeps my excitement lever up there, too!

They are great for anyone I believe who has a long wait. If only they had these years ago when I would take clients to the specialist appointments and have to wait for hours. This would have been perfect!

I bought a DVD last week in anticipation of the trip: To Wong Fu - I love that movie!

How old is Haley and how tall is she. Check out the legoland website and see what she can and can't ride. The first time we took lindsay she was shorter than their shortest height limit and there was alot she couldn't ride (a lot we felt should have been okay too). We were disappointed. The other times we took her she was the right height and she had a lot of fun. There are 2 car driving areas one for 3-5 year olds and one for 6-13 year olds. The two shortest heights 34 and 36 inches are the ones that cut off kids from what i feel should be kids rides.

They have a link to download a height chart, plus you can look at the rides based on their limits. They also have a section called what to do if you are 2.

Hi Donna,

Thanks for this info. Haley is 36 inches tall right now and will be 2 years and 9 months old when we go in August. I checked out their webpage and emailed them to ask if she could drive the cars in the 3-5 year old age range and was told she could since she is on the tall side and will be 3 months short of turning 3.

Bring lots of film, Howard goes camera crazy when we go here. He loves taking pictures of all the legos.

Believe it or not, I got it from the Arizona State University website. Use this code - 294-ASU-2004. Both adult and child tickets are $33.95 each. I printed them myself and didn't have to pay for shipping. I was going to get them through Costco.com, because they were $34.99/adult and $29.99/child, but would have had to pay $7.70 shipping. This way it only cost me $67.90 for the two tickets.

BTW - have you ever had any Granny Smith Fries? Someone on the DL boards suggested I get them because they are delicious. She said they are just like french fries, but made with Granny Smith Apples and have vanilla whipped cream for dipping. They sound great. Might have to try them.
