Will the Sister who is in charge of the PAlo Tea reservations please re ID herself? Can you post of list of those interested? How dressed up are we going to be? Gloves and hats? Tiaras?

Hi Marsha  I think that's me; I proposed the idea of afternoon tea since I was looking for company other than my DH who HATES tea but would go just to keep me happy. Dress code has not been discussed so far.

The response was good from the sisters, but I have to find my list again! (Working from home today; Lara has a cold & sore throat so she's not at school.)

Could the ladies interested in meeting one day for afternoon tea at Palo's please speak up again! (We've had some new members since we first asked the question.) I PROMISE to keep a better list ONLINE this time! :wizard:

Hey John, isn't there another site to put useful info?!?! This thread no longer serves that purpose!!!

Live at the Cove Cafe. Another overcast day- Capt. has made the announcement. We are skipping Grand Cayman due to rough seas. But a rough day at sea is better then a calm day at work!! They need to put in a dock there. I wonder how much revenue they lose every time a ship can't tender??...Mark

:jumping4: OOOO If it's a sea day, count me in for tea at Palos please. What a nice idea. I think I missed that memo somehow.
My hubby is not dependable where these kinds of plans are concerned,so I'm not too sure I should reserve a spot for him as well. So, just count me in for now unless there is some flexibility in the ressies. :Pinkbounc

Geez Mark that sucks. No Grand Cayman. I really want to go do the Stingray thing there. There really seems to be a lot of passes of that island by the ships lately though.
Good attitude though. Enjoy!!
Cheers,
Grumbo

Hi Carla, LOL - MOST of our hubby's are not dependable for this sort of thing; that's why we're planning this as a ladies' event. Men are welcome, but a lot of them will run in the opposite direction (straight to Grumbo's Wings and Weck party! :smooth: )

Arlene

Hi Mark  Sorry you're missing Grand Cayman ~ your attitude about the extra sea day is awesome, though. Just practicing for the EIGHT we have this summer, right?

Enjoy the extra time to just relax.

Arlene

Don't forget our little party in the Rainforrest Room Arlene. Aren't you and the 'girls' working that one??...Mark

One thing they need to do is have more activities for tweens and older teens. Hanging out on the stairs and riding the elevators is not fun, even if they do it all night long. Maybe some pool side entertainment with music would help...Mark

Melinda is hosting a party in the Surial room, or is that the Surreal room ;)

Arlene stop P.M.g me!!!
I told you NO, you Sisters are not crashing our "Guys Palo Tea", so drop it right now!!!

Cheers,
Grumbo

Hi Mark! We also missed Grand Cayman when we sailed. We went to Costa Maya instead. Don't go out of your way to find this out but if you go to Palo could you see how they will be handling reservations for our repo cruise? I'm wondering if you will still be allowed one reservation per room when you board for example.

Arlene, count me in for Tea, even thought i hate tea!!

Mark, what a bummer not visiting GC...well, look at this way, you be able to see how you like Sea Day 3 days in a row and tell us about it for the Repo Cruise...

Ooh, hosting in a surial room...Hmm now that a good thought..What can of play should we do in there??

Arlene,

Count me in,too, although like Mel, I can't stand tea (it makes me think of being little and sick!) Hey Mel, maybe we can get them to substitute an alcoholic beverage of some sort? :drinking1
