What will be worse, having the new book in the house and not reading it, or listening to the rest of family talk about it and not be in on the conversation? The good news, they all have to be finished before the cruise because IT'S COMING WITH ME

Yep, I think she even posted saying that she got them so you're all set!
I can't wait to see it! Thank you...I guess I just skim past Jeanne's posts, don't tell her.

I am up for a scavanger hunt whether we have to gather things or film them. Have a digitial that takes movies so I guess I can use that.

We're going to have to ship stuff to the port with all the activities going on...I can just see reams of paper being loaded for us!

It's an orange flavored liquor.
MMMM...Cosmo's!!! Will have to pack vodka and cranberry juice!!! COOL! :drinking1

My teenage experience with this was drinking what were called Blue Lagoons - which was based on the blue curacao liquor - this was manufactured by a company called Bols - now try the blue and the company name - and promise not to get offended - especially those of you in the frozen North!
I got it!! :rotfl2:

OOOHHH!! Almost chat time! Despite headache will stop in and say hi

~*~ THANK YOU RENEE'!!!~*~

I came home this evening from work to find the most beautiful and cool name tags for the cruise! Many thanks to you for all your hard work and creative talents! This made it all the more real. Can't wait to thank you in person too!

Hugs & thanks,

Barbara

I'll second the thanks Renee. What a wonderful surprise today when I opened ours up. It was a stressful day at work and I saw that envelope and wasn't even thinking cruise but it put a smile on my face just thinking of all the fun to be had. Thanks again!

"CRUISE SOUVENIR DVD
*************************************************
Here's the list I have so far of people who would either be interested in purchasing (at cost) a DVD souvenir of the cruise and/or would be willing to send me their photos and video footage for its creation. When the cruise is over, I'll post a message on this list with the details for sending me materials and placing orders and make sure to email or PM all these individuals specifically as well"

Found this on the May Repo Cruise site. Anyone willing to take this task on for our cruise? I would, but I AM NOT a film maker, editor nor reliable picture taker. But it sounds like a fabulous souvenir idea.

Looks like I may be heading to Seattle and Victoria BC in April for three or four days - anybody close at hand?

Allan

A couple of us who are cruising live about 3 hours south of Seattle in Portland, OR.

Do you have dates set? Seattle is great! Lots of things to do!

Got the magnets and the name tags in the mail. They are so great. I will get you the check!

Thanks so much for all your hard work! :cheer2:

Bernadette

I'm so excited we leave 6 months from tomorrow!!!! :cool1:

Yes, and did you see the prices? I can't believe that the Category 11 inside stateroom is more than we paid for our Category 5 verandah room! And on the May Repo site, four categories are open and all of their prices are higher than the ones stated for our cruise. It's a shame that DCL doesn't do what other cruise lines do -- if they are not sold out a week or two before they sail, they offer cut rate prices for the leftover staterooms. I'm sure they would still make out like bandits.

Sure glad I got my stateroom the first day.

I have little doubt that both sailings will be at or very near 100% occupancy by the time they sail. People will probably be booking up until two weeks before the cruise. Even with those prices!

I could probably do it. It would be awesome to see the world and it probably works out to be pretty cheap considering every place you visit and get to see.

Of course, I don't think I could swing the $24,000 fare!

Ohhh...

On second thought, I'm not so sure I would like the cruise. The ship is small compared to the Magic! People think the pool on the Magic is small, check this one out:

I wish the Magic would do a World Voyage. I'd be sold! :)
