Well, I don't want to tread on any toes because so many people are planning so many things -- both before and during the cruise -- and doing an excellent job of it. But if you are all interested in a group lunch maybe during the second week of the cruise, and no one has already looked into it -- I'll jump in and take the challenge (GULP! ) of trying to get info and seeing about arrangements (what am I, nuts?)

Renee we have decided to just get the Palo room, and go with several small
groups at Palo and maybe an over flow table or so.. I think the room holds 14 and people are getting in touch with Dcl to work this out..

We do not want to be shot down, like the Manager did on our other trip..
When we did manage to book almost all of Palo. threw there reservation system onboard.. One Lady saw us with all the same t shirts on and had A COW.. LOL and put up a stink next thing you know 2 differents days for the over 50 people who signed up..

Cathy this should not be that hard .. to do. just find out when you would
to do and they will save the tables in the room selected .. just let them know when you get on the ship .. is what we did.. in the past..

Another Fool suckered into, er I mean volunteering to help!

Hooray. I think that is a great idea, second week because by then the novelty is worn off, people are more relaxed, and boredom will have set in for some. It will give us all something else to look forward too, besides Castaway Cay.

Once we hit 500 pins usually the next price break is at 1000 according to their website! I think that 500 should be the cut off point for orders! But that is just my 2 cents!

if the orders warrant it we can order 600, 700, etc. The price per pin would just be the same as the 500 per pin price.

I think a group lunch during the second week would be terrific! I agree with both Marsha and Renee on location, though; we're probably already pressing our luck trying to get Tea for 35 ladies at Palo. There's no way they'd let us plan a large-scale brunch.

Parrot Cay could be a good location, though! All they need to do is cordon off part of the restaurant for our group on a specific day and we'll sit wherever within the section.

I'm in for whatever is decided!

Grumbo, that is a GREAT idea. Is there some way that I could send you all the boxes and boxes of pictures and you gould albumize them in your leisure time? I won't even need anything glued to the front, just the thousands of pictures in place!

So Marsha, did you see that there's a possible Nor'easter headed this way for Wednesday/Thursday? Aren't you excited? I know I am . Especially after the 45 degree temperatures we had over the weekend. It's supposed to be mid 40's today too, with 40's tomorrow and Wednesday as well. I think it's going to get icy tonight though. I could handle these temps for the entire month of February.

I am NOT excited. I have a noon flight to DC Thursday. And of course it's on Independence Air, biggest cancelers in the business. May have to rescedule that trip.
