Good morning!
I've been catching up on all the posts after my VERY busy weekend and Christmas dinner for 33!

I'm really happy to say, though, that everything turned out just terrific!!! Everyone had a good visit with each other and there was lots of good eating. (It must have been good - I only have "scraps" left from each dish we served!

) What made the day even more special is that my sister Sandra (who was in critical condition on life support only two months ago) was able to be with us!!!

She had a weekend pass from the rehab unit and was so happy to be with everyone.
It felt like a very special time for everyone - family members known to not get along with one another seemed to "leave it all at the door" and work hard to make it a nice day for everyone. My dear niece (who passed away 8 days after having her first baby in April) was very missed, but her husband was there with little Madison, who looks Exactly like her mother did at her age! It really helped to have her there.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and good wishes on how to cope with such a large crowd at a home dinner.
NOW FOR THE OTHER BUSINESS ...

Mark really got me into trouble when I wasn't around to defend myself!!!!! For the record, I DO NOT know Seth, nor am I in cahoots with Mark to drive Melinda crazy!!! (The Looneyhood seems to be able to do that all by themselves - they don't need any help from a "Sister".!

)
I want a rollback on the "three strikes" punishment clock!!! I'M INNOCENT, I TELL YA, INNOCENT!!!
