Bus to MCO after our cruise.

I've contacted about 7 companys about a bus from the Port to MCO. Most asked for a head count, which I don't have, some gave me a quote based on their occupancy.

The average rate seems to be:

Bus seating 47 passengers is 375.00 (7.97 per person if we fill bus)

Bus seating 58 passengers is 425.00 (7.45 per person if we fill bus)

Any thoughts??

Mark
Sounds interesting. Any chance of it making stops to places other than MCO? We'll be off to IOA, but want to get there early, sure most want the same thing. Do you have to eat breakfast with your seating that a.m. or can you depart early should you choose? We have late seating.

CONGRATS!!! Glad everything worked out well!

Mom2Belle&PeterPan- I believe on the last morning the rules change. Breakfast is very very early and you can start leaving the ship by about 8:00am. Your luggage will have been left outside your stateroom the previous night and your room steward brings it downstairs to the terminal. You go to grab some breakfast if you'd like and then it's off the boat...Mark

You can do the topsider continental breakfast. It opens early, and although they advertise it as Continental style only, the time we tried it, they did have scrambled eggs and bacon/sausage as well as cold stuff.

Thanks Mark, I'm going to change our car ressies to 8:00 a.m. just so it is ready. Hope you get the mini-van. Last cruise we used National and were in no hurry and the car we needed was not there yet and we were even running late. So, we're going with Budget this time due to their better track record. Dh gets good discounts with National but it was not worth it for this trip...place was not well organized! At MCO, National keeps the customers happy. Glad to know we can go to breakfast early, we were rushed that a.m. so the details are a blur to me, must be because I'm old according to the definition of some here. :)

I wanted to check out what was going on over here, dont mind me Im just being nosey, I wanted to see how Dr Jekkyl and Mr Izzi behaved over on this thread for comparision to our 11/27 thread.....................

Thanks Bob, that's even better!

Unfortunately Melinda we don't get any money back in Pa. for anything. You could tell your DH (Bob) that if he has problems with the fools :jester: that he should be glad you aren't on some of the other web pages I've heard about. :goodvibes:

Renee that is an adorable photo of Haley. She takes the best photos.

Congratulations DonnaDavid. I never knew you could get adjoining cabins and put your DH in the other one. Personally I would prefer non adjoining cabins. Me on the Magic and him on the Wonder. Only kidding dear. :guilty: He lurks you know.

Donna,

That is GREAT news. I am so happy for your family! No turning back now!;)

Mark,

Great deals on the busses. I am sure we could fill up a bus with 58 passengers. Just depends on how many people are headed straight for the airport.

We have not decided yet! We are thinking about staying 1 or 2 nights in WDW. We will decide after we get back at Christmas. Trying to plan our DVC points use for after August. Our AP's expire just days before we are back from the repo cruise. So, if we are going back to WDW for more than a week next year we will renew our AP's and stay 1 or 2 nights after the cruise.

Too many decisions!;) Many I should have a couple of drinks :drinking1 to help me make up my mind:crazy:

One Pina Colada for me please!!!!!!

So glad everything worked out...see you onboard.

I would be interested in the bus. There will be 4 of us. We have already booked our plane tickets going home that day...so no WDW for us this time.
