But this one really sums it up for our group. Especially Mark, Grumbo, and Jazzman.

First, congrats Laura, my grandmom's hair did the same thing. She always wanted "salt and pepper" hair so she was thrilled.

Second, count me in on the wine tasting. Maryland does have some vineyards (go figure) so I'll see what I can come up with.

I am so looking forward to being bored. I haven't had a vacation this long in 25 years (and that was a combined wedding a honeymoon). Time to do all the things I have never had time to do on a cruise.

Finally, I have met Roy, for about 30 seconds at the Save Disney event in Phil. A british documentary film maker even has it on film. My british friends have seen it, but I can't get the copy they made to work on a US player. He was a charming and gracious host that evening. There were supposed to have Disney higher ups on the first PR. cruise this year, but I didn't see them, or know who they were if I did. I would be thrilled to meet Matt Orimet (sp)

Laura what great news. Even if the hair stays two colors you can dye it or for that matter insure that the Disers will know you.

Tracy count in my dh and I and I think the couple who are going to be with us. They are busy posting on the thread for their Easter cruise on the Wonder. But they are definately wine people so I'm sure they will want to be included. We have a number of wineries locally in the Lehigh Valley, so finding a good one shouldn't be difficult. Melinda knows of several I'm sure.

By the way Melinda hope Alex is better. We had a similar experience some years ago. We were camping and our youngest had been in the pool. She got out and was complaining of being cold. So her Dad wrapped her up in a towel. Unfortunately he didn't think about having her arms out. So when she tripped and fell she cut her forehead cause she couldn't get her arms out. Luckily it was only a minor cut and the hospital put a butterfly on it. Doesn't show but she reminds him every so often that wrapping arms is not a good idea.

Laura, I can't tell you how your good news has brightened my day. hookairs if your hair is blonde, gray, or even purple???? That you are done with the chemo and are onto the next part is great. I know I am looking forward to meeting you, your presence on the cruise will be inspiring.

First thing you have to do is read all the posts here on FOOLS!! Go all the way back to 1st page!! By the time you read this all, you will just about go on the cruise! JUST KIDDING!!!

Were you assigned a room?? We are known here as fools. The Men are LOONEYHOODS and The Ladies are SISTERHOODS. We have a gender war here.

We are in process of planning, talking about excursions, Disneyland, Transportation, Hotels, and many more. There is so much going on here that i don't even know where to start. I get overwhelm here myself,. Too much chatting, as well as planning. Just bear with us and ask many questions you like....Right now we are in process of having a "Wine Tasting" party coordinated by WinoTracey.
I see you are from Northern Ca...There are many west coasters friends here!

Just a warning...Watch out for Grumbo and Mark...They have a 'thing' against us sisters!! Just ignore them!!

Again, Warm welcome and start getting excited!!!! This is going to be ONE fun cruise!! We also just found out that Roy Disney, Walt's Nephew, is cruising with us also!!

Uh, Estelle, on the contary!! I only lived here 5 years and i know no wineries here!! I only know New Jersey bit since i grew up there and that the Budweiser in Newark, but no wineries that i know of even in Jersey!! LOL!! PLUS!! i WILL NOT bring any bottle of wine to CA...I got enough to worry about my heavy suitcase going over the weight limit and Delta imposing a fee on me!!! I will however, be happy to find some nice wine over in CA before boarding!!!

Thanks!! Alex is doing much better now...I asked the DR to put a butterfly on but it was more severe and the cut was not straight so they had to stitched it...

I know I am leaving myself wide open to Mark, but I figure it will be a challenge for him to figure out how to try and get 'pictures' of me to post. My hair has started to grow back...but with a few differences than before. I was a blonde and the first round of hair I started to grow was blonde also. That fell out and then started growing in again, but very dark. But I figured, what the heck, as long as there is hair, I can make it any color I want, right sisters? Well, now there is ALOT of grey hair!!! And not just on the top of my head. My eyelashes and eyebrow are grey. Notice I said eyebrow? Well, the left side of my head has noticably more grey hair than the right side. The eyebrows are VERY noticable, as are the lashes!!! No grey hair in the right eyebrow or lashes, and just a few grey hairs on that side of my head. Laura

First off Laura no one really cares what color or how much hair you have!! The very fact that you're up to sharing that info with us, is by far the only thing any of us care about!! I wish you a speedy recovery from your therapy.

Now if by the time we cruise, you still look like Cruella DeVille, I'm not gonna let it rest!! I'll ask Disney Casting to make sure they have Cruella's outfit onboard since she'll be sailing with us.

I do hope this experience doesn't take your edge off. From what Ivanover has told us all in her PM's, you once were one tough cookie, but I guess age, life and MEN have finally tempered you down!! (Stepping back and covering up!!)...Mark

This was a sad day for my DD, Brianne!! i pulled apart her hair braiding tonight from the Wonder Cruise a month ago and she didn't wanted me too ...Of course, she whines whenever i unintentently pulled her hair but yet, no peep out of her when the Cm did her braiding!! Figures!! and then i laughed afterwards since she looked like an Afro girl...she got mad and did the tinkerbell posture!!! Oh, I'm the evil mom!! (Don't worry Laura (aunty Brat), Brainne makes me feel that i am Cruella!!!)

I told her that she will have it again in 8 months with her Disfriends, Lara, Rachel, and others!!

Maybe they'll get matching styles! I know Rachel will want her hair braided. I second the motion, and do it as early as possible, so no fighting over the bathroom! Do you think they will have it over on the LA side of the world? BTW, did you take a picture of the frizzes and the tinkerbell pose? I did for Rachel, it was the picture to have!

Seems like lots of folks have room assignments already. How does that happen? I've not heard a word from DU since I put money down on my cat.4 that first month the cruise was offered. Should I be worried and start makin some phone calls?
Sippin some great Shiraz as I type. This would be a great one to bring to a wine tasting!
As I've read these posts, seems like we need a special event flyer soon(independent of the navigator).
Let's see........one on board dismeet, one wine tasting.....Have I missed any others?
