Thanks for the heads up Mark.

WE are NOT the reprobates around here!!!!!! This, my friends, means WAR! And we're just the "Sisterhood" to take you on!

Arlene

BTW - The war will have to wait:p I have to go to an Admin Meeting downtown. But I'll be back tonight!!!

I see the "Sisterhood" have a new plate for their bus to get to port.

I've heard rumors (rumours?) that DCL may be planning a special area for these folks. Much as you wouldn't want your 3-year old running around in Lumiere's and disturbing the other diners, there is concern about allowing these women to populate areas where innocent males might be. This concern was heightened by mississaugamom's recent appearance with Terrell Owens prior to Monday Night Football, prompting the Walt Disney Company to review its decency standards(news) .

For that reason there's going to be a special area just for them. Originally this was planned to be the after stack, but apparently they are concerned that there was already enough smoke generated there already. So now the location will be the ship's medical center, forward and low on the port side.

This will be a restricted area, staffed with competent therap... er cast members to help the guests. Husbands will be able to drop spouses off in the morning, and pick them up at night. A unique pager system used Thursday through Tuesday allows husbands to be contacted during the day.

Thanks for the update Jazz.
I have found if you put the batteries in backwards in the pager for those type of situations you are not bothered nearly as much by needless pages about shopping cravings, and what to wear for supper, and such things.

Good work Jazz!!!!

Cheers,
Grumbo

My Dh is one of the typical man and he joined em!!! He just got home and i excitely showed him your clip art that you made for us and he said, you did a great job and you are smart too...and the reason he called you smart was because..are you ready for this........
You type Bob's name first and you know it ..that a MAN is always first!!!

Thank you..Eileen!!

Good thing you are not M.Stewart because i, as a mother of "uncontrolable kids" l wll have a fight you...I HATE HER!!!She annoys me!!
LOL!!!!!

Everytime "30 Minute Meals" would end on the Food Network, and the beginning of HER show would start, if I didn't change the channel quick enough, DH would run from the room screaming "The Anti-Christ! The Anti-Christ! Run for your lives!!!"

yeah, her voice and that fake smile irks me!!!!

Hello, i am Martha Stewart and we are cooking......UGH UGH!!!!

Ladies, be aware of this for your packing.

Disney Cruise Line® has altered its dress code, and now requires that gentlemen wear a dress shirt when dining at Palo. A jacket (or tie) is still suggested but not required. Gentlemen wearing t-shirts, golf shirts, Tommy Bahamas type shirts, etc. will be turned away.

This information is included in the Disney Cruise Line® Personal Navigator aboard the ship and the Palo reservation confirmation card. In addition, there is also a small sign outside the elevators on Deck 10, aft. The Champagne Brunch and High Tea will remain Resort Casual.

Take a look here!! Got this from another chat and thought of you!! pirate:

Pirates To Spice Up Disney Cruises

Disney Cruise Line continues to reinvest in its Port Canaveral-based ships, the Wonder and the Magic.

In an attempt to offer more attractions geared to teens, the company has launched Pirates In the Caribbean, a special deck party, on the Disney Magic. In January, the company will offer the pirate-themed deck party on the Disney Wonder as well, Disney Cruise Line publicist Christi Erwin said Monday.

"The unique thing is Pirates In the Caribbean takes the traditional deck party to a new level," Erwin said. "There’s not just music and dancing. There are special effects." The attraction is a tie-in to the 2003 Disney film "Pirates of the Caribbean."

Disney Cruise Line, which has made significant investment in the ships, continues to upgrade offerings to guests, Erwin said.

"It’s all part of what the guest wants," Erwin said. "Every cruise guest fill out the comment card, and one of the things they’re looking for is new forms of entertainment. Pirates In the Caribbean is not only just a deck party, but an entire experience that starts in the dining room, with a whole new menu."

On the dinner menu for Pirates In the Caribbean is Blackbeard’s jumbo crab cake, Caribbean-style spicy vegetable gumbo soup, The Black Pearl’s oven-roasted beef tenderloin and a dessert of floating island of tropical fruit treasures.

Disney Cruise Line completed significant renovations to the Disney Wonder cruise ship in mid-October, adding three new age-specific venues that appeal to the varied interests of adults and teenagers. The company upgraded interior and exterior areas of the ship.

The enhancements to the Wonder conclude a series of investments made by Disney Cruise Line. Its sister ship, the Magic, underwent renovations a year ago.

Erwin would not disclose the cost of the renovations, nor would she discuss the possibility of adding another ship.
