Got some info from my Jan. cruise thread. One of the people planning our onboard meet was able to get Sessions reserved for our group on Sunday morning from 10-11am. I wonder if they'll let us reserve Sessions for our meet. It'll definately hold a lot of people and it's private enough for us and best of all, Air Conditioned...Mark

Sessions sound great!! Think we can do the same?? Sounds like your Jan cruise is much more active than my Nov cruise...But that is OK...i would like a quiet cruise before i get into the WILD one next summer!! Also, since you have an earlier flight than i do, it would make sense for some of you to get a bus...Mine isn't til 6 PM.

Paul, they offered us a chance for food, but they wanted 10.00 per person. Why pay for it when it's free? ( I vaguely remember my wifes mother telling her that before our marriage, but I digress) anyway the bar is always available at a cost so they might consider it...Mark

I don't remember hearing that, but I faintly recall Mary saying, "Now that it's paid for, we don't want to wear it out!" Can't remember if she was talking about the sofa, car, or something else. It worked...all three are like new!!!

Sorry Mark, but that was a photo of my best friend with her family, I knew that I'd need an out if I joined in this thread. Anyway, I much prefer the photo you found, though it will do you no good next August as we Gemini's are always changing to a new look.

Melinda actually it is 34 days for us since we aren't leaving until Dec.3rd.
But even that sounds really good.

I have a question on suitcase weight. It is two checked bags and they can each weigh 50 pounds. Am I right? If that is right I am okay. My new suitcase weighs in at 18 pounds (stark naked) so I can fill that and then do it again with an old suitcase. With the carry on which they don't weigh (50 pounds right there) I will be selling DH space in the cases to pay for my souveniers and or liquid refreshment. inkbounce:

Once again the beautiful fall colors are being rained on. Yuck we won't reccognize the Sun when it comes out again.

Yes, that is correct..50 pounds for each suitcase...You are also flying Delta right??

Yes Melinda we are on Delta. Leaving on the 18th. Going to Cinncinati and then to Orange County. On the way home we are doing MCO to Atlanta and then ABE.

Seems a shame that Scratch will miss all the wonderful things we say about her. Is she gone yet?

I think the idea of Sessions for the meet is excellent. And they should be able to do this for us on one of the many sea days. The place can't be rented out that often. Btw 10.00 for food isn't really unreasonable. That's what we pay for Paolos isn't it? And with this group the food won't matter. Everyone will be more interested in the stuff in the glasses. :

We are going to a Halloween party tonight at the home of an old friend of oldest DD. It is a pajama party. Everyone has to wear what they sleep in. The husband of the hostess is wearing one of my nightgowns. Several of the guys want to know what they should wear...they were told bathrobes were okay. But personally I hope they have more on than that. We've known most of them since they were in grade school and the more clothes they have on the better.

I have to go to the kitchen now and cut cheese into little cubes. Truely one of my life afferming jobs.
