August 18,-25 2014 Disney Wonder to Alaska

Would love to join FE too. We've cruised Disney before but didn't know much about it so would love to try it this time. What should I do next? I found thenFB group too -- is it better to do FE there?

All of those (I would assume) are going in be included in our FE! (ie. other "+ _____" outside of the brackets don't count.) We're going to be splitting it up into 2 types of FE gifts: adult/teens and children. (Age 13 and up = teen)in order to keep the gifts age appropriate. If you have any other suggestions, please do not hesitate to comment!

So happy to have found this conversation! We (me and DS 10) will be on the cruise in August. This will be our second Disney cruise and we are so excited! We are traveling from Toronto, Canada. I'm curious if anyone is flying in on sailing day or before? I'm still debating.

we are flying in the day we sail b/c I have to work the day before I'm a little nervous about it. Hoping that there are no flight delays....fingers crossed.

They actually will be participating, but do not worry, the kids in our family are not hard to shop for at all. Just get junk food/snacks/food etc. Our cabin would be very satisfied to come back to different treats to eat around the ship. DD18 & DD15 will probably be the ones giving out the gifts anyhow.

I am considering this cruise. If anyone is in an inside cabin what did you pay? Thinking of doing this extra cruise so we would be Gold for Europe in Summer 2015.

We paid $4180 for 2 adults and a 3 year old in 11 A inside stateroom (booked in January). Could have got ocean view for not much more but wanted to be close to my parents (they have verandah).

Good evening! We will be on the Disney Wonder cruise to Alaska August 18-25 also. We cruised on Disney Fantasy August 2012 and 2013. There will be 6 of us: myself (Kari), my husband (Jim), 17-year old daughter (Miki--pronounced like Mickey), 14-year old daughter (Madison), and twin 12-year old sons (Nicholas and Nathan). We are from Wisconsin--crazy that with a snow-filled winter we are looking forward to going to Alaska for our summer vacation .

We would like to join the Fish Extender group also. We did not participate on our 2012 cruise but enjoyed it last year. Some things that made the Fish Extender group run very smoothly last year were to know the following things:
1. Stateroom numbers (so you know where to deliver the gifts)
2. Names of people in the group (in case some crafty people make
personalized gifts)
3. Ages of kids (so gifts are age appropriate)

Also, with the Fish Extender gifts, I know Disney does not allow homemade food items to be brought on board. Any food item has to be pre-packaged.

I will check back later, but I'm glad I found all of you on this thread!

Hi! I'm joining the party. I've been mentally planning this trip for a looong time, but not seriously considering this year until just recently and decided to go for it. Just made our reservations about a week ago.

It will be me and DS (11) and DD (6). I grew up in Alaska, but have never been to the Inside Passage so I'm very excited. Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting this all figured out!

Oh and we'd like to participate in the FE. Off to find y'all on facebook now.
