August 18-24 will the week when many southern schools(including Florida) start school.

December 15-21 will be the week before Christmas.

BTW Both start on a Sunday and end on a Saturday. We will not visit the parks on Arrival and Departure Day, so Park Days will be Mon.-Fri.

Which Dates will be more crowded?

How will the weather be for each?

Also, can you please rank the weeks from 1 being the lowest crowd and 10 being the highest crowd?

Thanks!!!

At this point, WDW has gotten so crowded that there isn't a true off season anymore. However, the week in August will be considerably less crowded because if that many schools are starting, no one's going to be taking vacation. From my experiences, December is hit or miss, but the week before Christmas will probably be pretty slammed considering there are many families who are going to want to go to Disney the first week of break and be back home in time for Christmas itself. August will still be very very warm, 70s-90s I would say. Definitely still shorts and t shirts weather. December will still get up into the 60s and 70s, but I've been there in winter and it's been in the 20s on extreme days, so you'd want to pack for both warm and cold just in case. I personally would go with August if crowds are a problem, but then again, Disney is AMAZING around Christmas and so magical! Not to mention Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. August is still summer, though, so it won't be lacking in crowds, but the fact that schools are in will make it better.
