After reading some of the reviews, I've been thinking about doing the amazing race in Cozumel, but I haven't found out how much it costs. Does anyone know?

Also, I want to do the 5K at castaway cay. Do we just show up for that in the morning or do we need to sign up in advance?

I believe you sign up the day before, details will be on your personal navigator. we are looking to 'do' the 5k. Not going to call it a run as prefer to drive everywhere, but will endeavour to amble round at my 'busiest' speed

Although I don't have much in the way of adult FE gifts left I too could at least provide a little something for the kids if you want to join in. Just post your state room number and the age and gender of the kids.

I just found this website tonight. My DH and I are planning our first Disney Cruise the week of the 17th. Our three kids will be joining us DD 13 DD 11 and DS 7. Would like to participate in the fish extenders since it sounds like fun and the kids would love it. We are from CA if that matters.

Thanks! I personally don't want anything but I think my kids would. I'm so bummed that I'm so behind in the planning but life kinda got away from me and now I'm doing major catch up. Let me see how quickly I can make my fish extender and then I will share my stateroom...I'm on deck 2 if that matters

Many people have hand made or personalized in some way their FE gifts, which is why there was a cut off date of June 30 to join. However, a few of us have extras, so if you post your stateroom number, I'd be happy to include you on our list for the FE.

Don't worry, the kids will have fun regardless! Another thing a lot of people do is decorate their doors with different magnets. A lot of people have hand made magnets, but I could never get my printer to work with them. Instead, I bought some blank magnetic paper and let my kids draw on them for our door decorations. None of it is really necessary, but it was something little that they really enjoyed, and it helped us find our door quickly.

My daughter is also 11 years old. Hope to see you at the DIS meet on the first day!

Just a suggestion, but on a previous cruise, we had many want to join the FE after the cutoff. That group banded together and made their own (third) FE group. Perhaps folks here might be interested in something like that???

Having been in a similar spot previously (I was signed up on one cruise but had not kept an eye on the board and wound up being deleted) I know what it is like to want to do everything and feel like you have fallen behind. Don't worry too much about making the fish extender (I have seen people use a cloth bag before). I will make sure your kids get something.

By the way we are also on the second floor and one of my DS is 13.

I noticed that booking at Palo and Remy is full for 2 people on most nights (only first, last and pirate night are still available)

However as soon as you pick 3 people all days have availability.

Does anyone know whether Disney "opens" up the larger tables when its clear no one is going to book enough larger parties?

I think Dizneet is on holiday now but she compiled the lists for the FE and we had 52 adults and 50ish kids.

What I'd suggest is a new list to include stateroom number, guests names & ages of children (if any)

We will participate in extra's as well but leave for our holiday Wednesday 7th so won't be able to oversee list

Hi again, the original list has 52 adults and 50 ish kids, hell of a lot by any standards.

I'll message fellow FE'rs and FB'ers and ask if they can do extras and do you and lollipopper a list, wont take long

You sound like me. We are Gold members and this is our 1st FE, we never heard about them before

I joined several groups on Facebook including Fish Extender lovers to get an idea. It seems 'literally' anything is good. which makes it a darn site easier

I have put a message out for FE'ers and will put out yours, lollipoppers and any other latecomers details on a separate list

We are closing this new list 10th August
