Hi Cruisers!
Sorry I've been MIA! Too much going on! No FE's ready yet, no packing done, not even laundry of things I want to pack!!! That's ok, no worries, I'll be ready. I can spend the whole cruise in a bathing suit! Okay, I promise to wear clothes to Palo.....
Got a contract on our So Fla home so we are hoping that all goes smoothly and we can really celebrate with our friends on this cruise! Can't wait to meet you all!

Thanks Scott & Lynn for your great advice. We're not doing Palo's so no worries there. I'll assess the whole ensemble when it (and DH) arrives tomorrow. (He had to work this week so was spared the joy of arriving at the condo to find a hole in the master bath ceiling - just what you want to deal with in the first few days of vacation!)

Maybe the two of you should have a 'whose hawaiian shirt is loudest' competition?!

That's great news. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way as our cabin is just about as forward as you can get.

I just started packing. For some reason, I always wait until the last minute (we leave early Sunday).

I was just thinking about our embarkation photo. I'd love to get one with both of my boys smiling. For one reason or another, one of them always breaks down at that point. Maybe they are picking up on my high level of excitement (something I usually don't experience in the home setting).

Leslie - that is great news, hope we get the really great news that house is sold when you get on the ship!

We are almost ready to go, Scott says he is coming home early tonight so he can go over packing list one more time - (and maybe help mow the lawn?) - dogs will be taken to the kennel (aka puppy camp) this evening as we are leaving at 0 dark 30 in the morning.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the ship for the 2:00 meet. We our bringing an old laptop so, I will check to make sure I am at the right time and location.

Welcome to the wonderful world of FE's. The good thing is you have that extra bag, cuz once you unpack it you need it again to bring home all the stuff you got in the FE! That's the fun of it.

I think I am just about the only one home now. Talked to Shari this morning as they were all boarding the plane in Los Angeles. They should be to OKW by now.

I don't leave till Tuesday p.m. so I've still got to pack, do laundry and all that stuff.

P.S. We will miss you at the grass skirt fraternity party, but I'm sure Scott will toast a drink in your honor!

Ahhh Bob...wish you and Lee were going too. I will miss you ... Who am I going to make fun of at dinner??
Linda: Joe will not be done with classes until mid December, boards sometime in January....then it's a holding pattern to see what the college will offer on the rumored early out package.

PS: Still no FE's done, working on the laundry, Don't even know where the suitcase is... in the garage somewhere... Joe will be up late late Tuesday night so all packing will be done Wednesday. Early morning drop on Thursday at Puppy Camp and then we're off with GeJo Limo service!

Good Morning Cruisers!

It is a humid morning here in Cocoa Beach! Scott went out for early morning run - we are now enjoying breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express!

Leslie - it depends on what time you show up to board the ship whether Scott's hands will be in the air or in the shrimp bowl

We will be keeping the ship warm for all of you! Have a great couple of days!

We have 2 more days and a wake up before our flight to MCO. We still have to pack. We actually still need to do laundry and then pack!

Things have been crazy for us with DH's police unit having to work 8PM-4AM the last 2 weeks and both boys finishing baseball/starting football. Brennan (DS8) finished his last tournament this past week with 3 games back to back yesterday alone---he literally played from 10AM to 8PM with a 4 1/2 hour game starting at 1PM and going 5 extra innings (they won by 1). They made it to the championship and played under the lights but lost. Although I love their travel teams, I'm just happy to be done and have one less thing to do before our trip!

We just can't wait for vacation!
