I am in the process of figuring out when our next trip to Disneyland will be and would love some opinions based on our previous experience and what people think will happen with the 60th anniversary.

Our first trip with our kids was the week Nov 11-16 (yes, we did a half day on Veterans Day, and it was not nearly as bad as I expected). We did not think it was that bad in regards to crowds - the longest we waited was a half hour for Minnie Mouse (well, other than WOC) - but we also used the wait time apps to keep things from being crazy. The weather was also beautiful.

We really liked that time of year, but now, with the half marathon, and Veterans Day being in the middle of the week, I am not sure if that is our best option (although, DH could run in the half marathon).

We could also do the week after labor day (possibly starting with the half-marathon for my husband), which I have heard is a good time to go, but we would have to pull my daughter out of school the second week of school. I don't have a problem with pulling her out, but that may be a little silly to pull her out the second week.

Or we could go in August. School starts Sept 1st, so I was thinking either the week of the 24-29th, or the week before that. I know some area schools are back in school, but the AP passes are unblocked, so I am not sure how that will play into the dates.

I am not too worried about the heat- we are coming from Eastern WA and have become used to upper 90s-low 100s in the summer. The later hours wont necessarily benefit us, since our kids are still relatively young (will be 4 and 6). We don't mind some lines, but would prefer to not have super long lines for most of the rides. I hear conflicting reports about what August is like, so I cant decide if that would work well for us or not.

So, based on all of that, which of these time frames would you suggest for us:
1. August 17-22
2. August 24-29
3. September 6/7-12
4. November 9-14
5. November 16-24
