So glad to hear this!! I hope the pt will continue to strengthen her and she will make a full recovery. DH's brother's trauma was self inflicted and there's a very long story to go along with that, starting back over 6 years ago. What's been making it worse is his estranged wife still has power of attorney and every decision has to be made by her and the family has been suspicious of her motivations for the previously state 6 years, or more.
Ultimately the decision has been to take him off life support - which in the long run will end his multiple levels of suffering. I am most concerned with DH's state and he has made his peace and is concentrating on being strength for his mom. I'm just here for him, and feel like I'm not doing much.
My ticker says 2 months and 4 days. That means 65 days before we actually leave for FL...I've got so much to do.....
That sounds like such a sad situation. I can't imagine how hard it must be for all of you to watch this for so long. Many prayers and hugs going out to you (((hugs))).

I've been fortunate with My Disney Experience thus far...no problems (although it will not pull up our Candlelight Processional Dinner in December on my phone, but it is listed in my dining reservations on the website, so I'm okay).

Yah - that shopping cart is going to be a mess... As of now, my list is really short - which means there will probably be a lot of impulse buys... Not a whole lot of coupons at the moment - as I just cleaned out my binder the o ther night.

hey I have a question about APs,my DD and I were thinking of getting APs but we were told we could not do the dinning plan because with magic your way everyone in the room has to have the same plane dinning plan, and tickets.

According to MDE we still owe $2500 on our trip - which is paid for and I have the receipt from Disney stating that.

Again, thank all of you for your continued support for Kat. I know she is anxious to be at hom. Her progress in the last month has been absolutely amazing. I believe that her determination to get over this, her physical condition over all (she was a gymnast while in high school) and the love and support from family and friends, (including all of you) have contributed to her recovery.
I would be super nervous if I was paid in full and MDE told me I had a balance.
I agree - I really think that Kat is an amazing and determined individual - I am so happy and relieved that she is doing so well.

I cannot imagine what 4 months of bedrest would do to a body, it must be so hard sometimes just to find the energy to do normal things? Hopefully you are able to get back to it slowly.
I should be on the Dis Lose It list too...and If I can get my shoulder/back problems under control, I'll be back to the 10 minutes in the Morning program, which is how I lost 25 lbs in my late 20s.
I absolutely need to start walking so I don't overdo it in September. I know I'll get walking in a couple of weeks, whether I want to or not. DH is starting a full time job again and I'll be home before him to walk the T-Dog.
I hope you are able to get everything under control so that you can get back to your normal routine.

Actually it depends on the wording of the promotion. They used to have across the board 2 day base ticket requirement, but now each individual promotion has a different requirement on the number of days you have to purchase to get the Free Dining. I tried to check to make sure (I 'think' it is 4 days this time) but my computer will not cooperate with me and let me pull it up.
Aw...I was really hoping Disney was going to give me a nice present of extra tickets...seeing as how I have gone every year at least once for the past 11 years... But...mine has been paid in full for a few weeks now and it just showed up a little over a week ago.
I am 100% positive Disney will figure it out...long before I have a chance to cash in that extra set of tickets! LOL!

Congrats on the weight loss and toning! I swore up and down that I wAs going to lose weight and be in better shape for this trip. Seriously tho,I'm likely a couple pounds heavier which is myown fauls. Even with having the puppy I find that I jus do not get enough time to walk him and go on the super Long walks, between work and v and photograph and customs, there jus isn't enough time in a day. My eating habits are only the best either, so I am pretty disappointed in myself. I just seem to lack willpower and discline... And time.
Awww... I totally understand - that is how I was for our last trip, and it's so hard to find the time and the frame of mind sometimes. I totally get it. Hopefully, between now and then, you will find the time to do something to make you feel better about it - even if it's just a bubble bath.

I wish I could say that yesterday was exciting - but it really wasn't.
I did spend most of my day actually IN the photo lab, doing photo lab activities though - so that was nice. I usually don't spend more than 15 minutes in there, total, in one given shift... So it was fun to be back in the lab. We were super busy because this week Target is running their 10 cent sale on prints printed in the store (in the one hour lab)... So I had oodles of people in printing.
Along with the sale, I have to get my own photos in there to be printed for our Mini-planner.
Then, last night, I came home - and I took a very short cat nap... It was nice.
I also begain working on my custom order applique - it's all ready to go this morning, so I will be stitching it out all day.

In trip related news...
Several months ago, I invited one of my jr. highschool bffs to join us for a day in WDW (she now resides in FL). I had also invited her to join us last year - but it just didn't work out for her schedule. I had lost touch with her some time in high school, but I remember calling her once right after I'd had Alli - at that time in her life, she was prepping to move to Germany with her military DH - then I lost touch with her for good.
It wasn't until a few years ago, that we were able to reconnect through Facebook, and we've been good friends since. She is divorced from her DH - but they have a dd, who (I think) is 1 year younger than V.
Anyways, she wants to meet up with us at DHS in the 25th (Ruthie, this does NOT affect the Dismeet - I will just bring her with, if she is still there)... I was able to add her to our Sci-Fi dinner reservations last night. I am very excited to see her, as I have not seen her since about 11th grade - and that was an accidental bumping into eachother.
I am a bit aprehensive about having someone else tour with us, but if it was to be in any park, I would prefer it to be DHS. We tour pretty liesurely there, so it should work out well - and we certainly are not commando people either.
Regardless - I am very excited to see her again, and very excited to finally meet her dd.
