I havent been on in awhile, and I'm just catching up, but just had to say that I LOVE this bag!!!! Up is my favorite movie and this is just perfect!!! ​

LOL...I have to tell you that in our house...I always call Olive Garden...Garden Grill. Only because they both have the word Garden in their name... but my family always tease me about how addicted I am to Disney that I can't get the name right!

Thanks Chiara... I am very nervous about the Vans... I told her that she needs to wear them all day every day around the house to break them in.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and care. Right now my biggest issue is making sure my mom's bills are taken care of on time. Silly me - I followed her directions instead of doing it my way & now I'm stressed about it. Should have just looked at what she does and do it my way.

I hope things go much more smoothly from here on out. I can barely keep up with paying our bills - I have detailed spreadsheets to keep me up to date, and it helps - but I always fear I will forget something.

DH has been holding up pretty well, enough to notice that what I really want (and need) is a day in my sewing room without having to worry about anything or anyone. I'm HOPING I can get that day Tuesday.

On a trip note, I am breaking in the shoes I got specifically for this upcoming trip: they are bright orange, but I got them on sale! Hopefully Alli will be able to break hers in well enough to stave off any issues during the trip. Blisters are No Fun!.

I love bright shoes!!! I purchased a pair of black ones for the first time ever before our last trip - and I hated the way they made my feet look. I am debating on bringing them with as a second pair of shoes - so I can at least have a different pair to walk in - in the morning - from what I plan to wear in the parks.

I agree - I feel like we've been planning forever! We are all starting to get REALLY excited - even the girls! I am very happy about that.

Good news about Dorrrine. I went to New York a couple weeks ago (primarily to see Book of Mormon, I didn’t realize how politically/religiously incorrect it is) BUT I went to the American Girl store and after two years I finally broke down and bought Dorrrine a brush. Well, I haven’t used it yet, but the good news is I have it in case I‘m ever inspired to brush her hair.

Hahaha... I hope Dorrrine is doing well! You should take that brush for a test spin one of these days - just to make sure it works. How is Ginger? Any sign of Rod?

Hi and welcome back! Yah - that bag was truly a labor of love from start to finish... I wish every bag I made turned out that great.

So, as you saw yesterday - I worked all day in my sewing room, and I managed to finish my 2nd bag.

If you are keeping track... I still have 1 custom order set, 1 auction bag set and 1 bag for me left to do before we leave.

The plan for this week is to work on my custom order first... Then I will transition into my auction bag in the afternoon.

I must have my custom order complete before Friday - as the girls and I are out of town this weekend. If the auction set runs into next week - that will be OK... I would like to have it finished early in the week though. This auction will cover our souvenir $$.

Then, next week - hopefully most of the week - will be devoted to my last trip bag. This one should be interesting, because I need to draft a new pattern for it - and I won't have the time to make a prototype - so my bag will be my prototype.

Today is my day off - and I think I have earned it. What's the plan for today you ask??? The girls and I are headed up to one of the main theaters in the Cities to see Monsters U!!! We are very excited! We can't see it in any of the theaters near us, because it's already gone!

In trip planning news... Big day yesterday... Our park tickets finally arrived! They couldn't have been more perfectly picked for our family. I honestly wonder if they didn't choose them from our avatars on MDE? I changed our avatars about 2 months ago - but these were the first ones I had chosen for us. I thought it was so strange that they hit it perfectly...

Once we get back from our weekend getaway this coming weekend... The girls and I will be in full-on packing mode all week... I am looking forward to getting everything sorted and figured out... I thought I was making progress a few weeks ago - but... Not so much...

My weightloss progress is going quite well... I wish it would go faster - but I am glad I started when I did. My whole goal was not to be miserable on this trip - and I think when the trip actually gets here - I will have achieved that goal. I am still not where I want to be totally, but I really want to keep pushing myself and continue on this journey when I get home, as I am feeling better and better every single day.

I can't believe how close your trip is. I am so excited for you!

I am in love with the Jiminy bag. I was in love with the first one you did and now I am in love with this one too!!! He's such an awesome character...and the navy blue with the other bright colors just go so well together! Great job as always.

Today started out great until I realized I had pulled a "I can't believe I messed up my days." Our plan was to take the kids to Home Depot for the monthly kids build that they do. For some reason I thought it was today but oops! It was yesterday!! We wouldn't have made it yesterday anyways due to a birthday party and our friends big summer party. So the plan is to try again next month. Out of the 3 of them I thought Jeremy would take it the hardest but it was actually Sarah. As we were walking out of the store she started crying. Poor thing!! Got her calmed down and back home where I went back to sleep for a couple hours. I guess that's the pregnancy forgetfulness kicking in.

Yeah for getting to see Monster's U!! I still want to take Jeremy to see it but it just hasn't happened. We'll probably just wait now until it comes out on video. Hve a great day!

I got to sew today & even did an applique. I need to practice more.

I really enjoyed my day off yesterday... but I was overwhelmed with nothing to do! YIKES!!!

I did sort through our luggage (again)... I have everything packed for myself, except for my shorts. Amazingly - I think it will all fit! I also divided up what needs to go in the girls' luggage - so mine doesn't go overweight. Aside from adding the clothes we are still wearing - I think we are ready. I hope.

I did sneak into my sewing room for just a few minutes and finish our lanyards for the trip. I had cut them out weeks ago... and V had ironed them for me... So, I took less than 20 minutes to sew them up. Very happy to have those done, as well.

Oh - and I Scotch Guarded our park bags too. Since most of them are such light colors this time around - I figured I better be safe.

So, then the girls and I went to MU... It was a good movie - I am very glad we saw it... but like most people said - the first one was much better.

We stopped at Target on the way home, and hit their clothing clearance... We each purchased a couple of fun shirts for Disney (or in my case, jammies, which may/may not fit when we go)...

Then we came home to Josh grilling an amazing dinner. He did a pork loin roast on the grill, and then he made some roasted veggies to go with it... It was delicious!!! I didn't get a photo of the pork, but I did take one of the veggies to send to Suzi and Mo - because they loved them when they were here for our birthdays.

And then - MM on the swing last night... We laugh at him all the time because he just sits like a "man" - LOL He is such a dork - but we love him!

Of course - I am a bit FREAKING out today... My ticker is getting so small and I am so nervous/excited/overwhelmed right now... I am a total nut case!

I cannot wait to get our out of town trip done this weekend - so we can come home and really devote our time to prepping for our trip.

I know here in GA the date was mid June...but over all the US it was mid July...I wish they had a site that would let you know which state had the last date...but this was from a local news station...so they only focused on GA... I am sure there is a way to search your particular state...

I wish I had some fun and exciting updates for you all... but there really isn't much.

I worked in my sewing room yesterday morning for a little bit...

Then I had to stop and take V to the Dentist...

We pit stopped at Target for a little bit and did some BTS shopping - I was able to get the bulk of their BTS supplies with coupons... My total before was $67 and I paid $32... So, I saved just over half. Which was pretty cool - I've never had coupons for BTS shopping before.

Then I came back home and went back to work in my sewing room.

V had a brilliant ideal last night... She wants me to make an autograph pillowcase for her... So, I did a google search and found some really cute ideas out there. And she raided my stash to find the fabrics she wanted to use... My only issue is that I don't have any solid white for the case portion of it... The white I do have is higher end/higher thread count - and I am afriad that would just be too heavy of a weight for a pillowcase. I don't have time to go to the fabric store to grab some, and I don't have time to order any - so for this trip, I may end up purchasing premade pillowcases at Target, then just adding my own fun stuff to them? I hate to do that, but I think it may be my only option at this time... Had she come up with this idea a few weeks ago - it would ahve been a different story. I am excited about it though... And of course, I will have to make her a cute fabric marker pouch that coordinates with her pillow case...

So, we can add the above stuff to my "to do" list. LOL

I will be working on my custom order bag all day today... I hope to finish the applique for both the bag and the wallet.

This afternoon - I have a hair appointment for a cut and foil. I wish I would have scheduled it for next week, but oh well...

14 days!!! Today was supposed to be our very busy day. But.....

olive garden you say huh? Yup ....just about a week ago. I started the other night, but for me it was mixed with the spinning so, just alot of sitting in the bathroom.

DH today however..... so so sick. He is seldom sick. When he is, he just pushes through, but not today. I can't remember the last time he was this sick. So, I had to cancel all my running around since he is my chauffeur.
Any news on how long it lasts?
