Hi!
I have had a week so far. Had to take my Dad to the ER and admit him. My DS4's Dr says he is back to having significant hearing problems and will have to get a second set of tubes. Its final exams week which means crazy blitz of grading.

I am telling you all of this just so you can understand the Absolute JOY I got from receiving Maleficent! What a great pick me up!

This bag is more amazing than the pictures showed. The colors are so deep and gorgeous! The detail is just amazing.

I always feel like a stalker on this thread when a new bag is promised!

Now I just need to decide whether to be selfish or not. I really don't need another of D~s bags but it is Pluto so I want it! Of course I could switch back and forth between the two while at the parks. Decisions, decisions. Guess I have a day to think.

Sorry for the delay in posting pictures... Alli called me from school, so I had to run to town to drop off her work for her. Here I sit at the Ford dealership waiting on my oil to be changes, figured I better make this trip to town worthwhile. Headed straight home after this so I can get photos posted for you all.

Thanks D~ (and Liz!) for the appliqué advise! I think I'll try it out on scraps before taking the plunge on the real thing. I'm sure there's a huge learning curve.

I love the pirate Mickey!! The lining fabric reminds me of Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Very cute!

I love the picture of MM. My dog Sierra sits like that on DH's shoulder while he eats. We call it "the parrot". Of course she's only 12 pounds, a bit smaller that MM.

Thanks Oopsi! Unfortunately, there is still half of the council that won who were part of the write-in campaign. Oh well... Hopefully they will get a glimpse of how much we really need to take care of. I pray that we are able to move forward.

LOL I didn't end up on The Dis as much as I thought I would yesterday - it turned out being a crazy day!

I am very glad that you like the bag... I felt kind of bad posting my crummy pictures of it, because there is just no way to photograph that bag and do it justice. I really couldn't be happier with a bag. I hope you enjoy it and have an amazing trip!

Yesterday was such a crazy day for me....

First Alli called saying she needed me to bring an assignment - now... Ahem... So I had to run to town with my hair all a mess, no shower... At least I threw on a pair of jeans. Then I had to go into the high school looking like that...

I called the Ford dealership while I was in town, and they could get me in for an oil change at Noon.... So, I decided to hang around.

I went to Target, and finished most of the last of my Christmas shopping for the girls. All we have left to get is maybe a school sweatshirt for both of them. I keep meaning to stop by the place that sells them - maybe today?

Then, I came home, took photos and packaged up the wallet set. I realized that I forgot to go get MM food... So I loaded him up and we went to the Vet.

While I was at the Vet, V called and asked why I wasn't in town to pick her up (the Vet is in a different town in the opposite direction)...

So, I rushed home, dropped off MM, and rushed to town agin to pick up V. Then I texted Alli to see if she wanted a ride too... She did - but not for another hour.

So, meantime, V and I ran to the PO... I don't like the PO in this town, but I was there and I had time to kill.

We grabbed Alli, ran home, sat here for about 45 minutes... Then we had to leave for the girls' hair appts... We didn't get home again until 7:30!

We had dinner, then after dinner, I ordered V's last Christmas gift online. And went straight to bed.

It was just a crazy day!

Today, I work at Target... It's starting to get busier = more fun. I love working there this time of year, it's never boring.

Tomorrow, I am meeting my bff and we are doing our Thanksgiving grocery shopping. Since she hasn't been working - she's taken to couponing in a big way. So, I gave her my grocery list, and while she has been doing her own, she's been finding the best deals for me too... I am pretty excited about it.

Your day yesterday sounds just like mine. Running here and there all afternoon. I had to take DH to the eye dr (because he couldn't possibly pick out his own glasses frames), the kids to the dentist, do a bunch of errands and then I took the kids to a dinner meeting for a GS award they are working on. By the time we got home, I was exhausted. I hope that today is quieter for you!

I actually feel like I've accomplished something in my sewing room. I put the waistband on a skirt that I had laying around for about 6 month. It'll only be another month or so before I finish it.
