~ Aug 2013~ Sew what... We've gotta find a way back! Part I!!

Love the SSE bag! I love all your character bags too...but I'm really glad you are getting into the icons now too. Like my balloon bag...I may change favorite characters many times, but the castle, SSE, balloons, etc will never go out of style!

Good to know about Anna Karenina. I just downloaded the book to my Kindle because I had seen the movie previews and want to see it. But I like to read the book first.

Glad to hear that the itchies are getting better. Hopefully the Allegra will continue to do the trick and you can get by without the Prednisone.

The Spaceship Earth bag is very cute! There are so many characters that I love, but I'm a fan of the park icons also. It's one of my favorite things to take pictures of on my trips.

This was a very difficult bag for me to make, not only because I was still recovering from the ansetesia, but Mr. R was not cooperating at all. SSE and all of it's "supports" were entirely hand cranked, and I was not a happy camper. The next time I decide to quilt an applique piece before I actually applique it - I will think twice. :rolleyes1 HOwever, the quilting really gives SSE a depth that I cannot translate into pictures - but in person - it looks pretty cool.

In the end - I do love the colors of this bag. The owner requested blue - because she loved the white of SSE with the blue blue sky... And I have to agree with her - the blue really alows SSE to pop off of this bag.

D~

Love the bag! Blue of course, and the inside fabric is very pretty!!!

Glad to hear the Alegra is working.

I still have a ton of sewing to do for our trip. And if I don't get on it soon, I will be disappointed to not have the outfits. I am tweeking our daily plans, which makes deciding on a theme a little easier. So I have decided on a few themes. And I have the next pattern I want to try. Of course new patterns take more time. If I could stick with one pattern until I get good at it, that would help. But I'm pretty sure the Lauren dress pattern will be my go to, once I get through it once. Once I get a few more ideas I will start on that list you suggested. I also need to finish up taxes next week, so after that is done, then I can put all attention to sewing.

Have a fun day!

Edit: the photos did not show up :( not sure why.

Also I forgot, love the mini planner too!

Thanks Sandra!

Your rash doesn't sound fun either. What do you do for it?

I was given a cream to put on it when it get's really bad. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. If I remember right it's called Desonide (sp?). I also try to keep my hair off my neck and the area as cool as possible. I've noticed that when I get really hot it tends to flair up a lot more.

Wow that's some great savings!!! Great job!!

Glad it sounds like your's is starting to get better. Hope it continues that way.

Loved the SSE bag!! I agree the white pops on the blue.

SSE bag is super cute! Your talent amazes me as always!

I didn't so much dust off the binder, but I did print out some coupons and some Target coupons and did a wee bit of shopping there. I saw the binder once since we moved so now I need to relocate it and empty and reload it. That should be quite a project! Thanks for inspiring me to get back to saving money! Definitely helps us go to Disney!

Thank you! :) I think I missed your first name... If you don't mind sharing it (which is no guarantee that I'll remember it... LOL).

Yay!!! I hope you are able to find your binder and get it cleaned out.

Glad to hear the Allegra is working for you and the itchies are going away. I saw that you are getting ready to open up orders for the fall. That will be after my trip, but I may try for one anyway. I showed some of your bags to Charlie and he was impressed with your talent!

For Lois - My younger son's gf has allergies to gluten and eggs, not sure about dairy. She can eat eggs if they are cooked in something, but cannot eat just eggs. I found a gluten free cake mix that I made for Andrew's birthday cake - it was actually pretty good. There are a lot of foods out there that are gluten free - you just need to read labels.

Just 2 more days until my trip to Hawaii - I'm so excited!

T

Thanks T! Thank Charlie for me too. :wizard: I hope you do try for one... I am sure you will go on more trips, right?

WHOOT! How awesome about Hawaii - so jealous!!! That is going to be an amazing trip! How long will you be there?

Love the SSE bag! I love all your character bags too...but I'm really glad you are getting into the icons now too. Like my balloon bag...I may change favorite characters many times, but the castle, SSE, balloons, etc will never go out of style!

I try to do some of the icons, if I can come up with a good idea for them. Sometimes it's a bit hard. Besides - we all have to remember that these are customer orders - so I kind of have to do the theme they ask me to do - LOL - if I can anyways. :cool1:

Good to know about Anna Karenina. I just downloaded the book to my Kindle because I had seen the movie previews and want to see it. But I like to read the book first.

I love the time period it's set in... And Mary, from Downton Abbey actually has a small part in it (it was so nice to see her - now that we have finished the entire DA series for now) Josh and I were trying to discuss what we liked/didn't like about it, and I think I've come to the conclusion that it was just too metiphorical for me... It seemed that every single part of the movie was a metiphore, and I just don't like to have to think that much when I am watching a movie. LOL

Glad to hear that the itchies are getting better. Hopefully the Allegra will continue to do the trick and you can get by without the Prednisone.

Thank you... I hope so too. I went yesterday with out putting on my cream... I think I need to put it on again today. :confused3

The Spaceship Earth bag is very cute! There are so many characters that I love, but I'm a fan of the park icons also. It's one of my favorite things to take pictures of on my trips.

I agree - I love the park icons too.

Love the bag! Blue of course, and the inside fabric is very pretty!!!

Thanks! Please forgive me, I know you've been here forever, but I am blanking on your first name... I don't ever write them down (maybe I should?), and I seriously think my memory is GONE! LOL

I have heard great things about the Lauren pattern... Well all the Funktional Threads patterns - Lisa is a super nice person - and her patterns are some of the most loved boutique patterns out there. However, the only one I have is the skirt pattern she did a few years ago - I do love it though. Somtimes I wish I had the time to make more dresses and fun things. :lovestruc You'll do fine, just make sure you prioritize, and if there are some things at the bottom of the list that don't get done - you will still have a wonderful time and a wonderful vacation - I always have to try to remind myself that it's about the people I am with - and not what we are wearing... Which is sometimes hard, because I like to have lots of pictures - and I like everyone to look nice. :thumbsup2

Have a fun day!

Edit: the photos did not show up :( not sure why.

Also I forgot, love the mini planner too!

Not sure what was going on with the photos? They were working for me? Are they working now?

I was given a cream to put on it when it get's really bad. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. If I remember right it's called Desonide (sp?). I also try to keep my hair off my neck and the area as cool as possible. I've noticed that when I get really hot it tends to flair up a lot more.

Yikes - that doesn't sound like fun at all. It's too bad that they can't find something that would work all the time.

Wow that's some great savings!!! Great job!!

Glad it sounds like your's is starting to get better. Hope it continues that way.

Loved the SSE bag!! I agree the white pops on the blue.

Thanks for all the above Sandra. :lovestruc

**********************************************************

Yesterday was another boring day...

As it turns out - Josh went and had his alternator checked and he doesn't need a new one. Phew! <---- Where is the wiping a sweaty brow guy when you need him?

I spent the morning clipping coupons and organizing them.

Lots of great deals at Target this week... One in particular that I am excited about... We are almost out of fabric stoftener, so this works to our advantage...

Right now, Target has a coupon in their Sunday ad, spend $40 on select home items, and get $10 off. One of the items is fabric softener... So, I plan to get 3 @ $8.99/each (total $26.97), 2 Ziploc bags ($5.32), 2 Lysol toilet bowl cleaner ($3.78), and 2 Windex ($5.32) = $41.39 - $10.00 Target coupon = $31.39 - all of my other coupons ($10.00) = $21.39 - my discount = $19.25 - my Target check card savings = $18.29 :cool1: + tax, of course... But still a VERY GOOD savings. :thumbsup2

I really did nothing else yesterday, except for making the pork loin. I tried to tell the family that I slaved over it all day. :stir: They informed me that I did nothing of the sort, all I did was put it in the crock-pot and it cooked all day. :rolleyes1 Regardless, I had the foresight to cook them dinner, and they should be happy. :confused3

Today... Well, I plan to start my next bag. But I have to run Alli to town right away this morning. I plan to stop at Target to purchase the above mentioned deal. Then head home to work.

V has an appointment this afternoon, but as some of you may have heard on the news, we are in for a big winter weather event. Depending on how the roads are after school, it will depend on if we are going to cancel the appointment, or if I am going to try to brave the roads. I hope I don't have to cancel the appointment, because this office does charge a $50 cancellation fee if the appointment is not canceled with in 24 hours. :( I am going to call them right away this morning to see if they have a weather policy though. ::yes:: Hopefully they do.

Otherwise, I plan to work on the bag all day. :wizard:

I hope you all have an amazing day! Happy Monday! :lovestruc

D~

I love the new bag! I can't even imagine hand cranking that much!! :faint: You seriously deserve kudos for that!!! And shame on Mr. Rocket for doing that to you!:headache:

Thanks for the prayers for the new diet. I am learning a bit more every day, and we had been trying to eat "clean" for some time, so I still have a lot of those options. Breakfast is the most difficult, but I'll get used to it. I could have it so much worse.

I saw that Target spend $40 get $10 and am so going to take advantage of that! My deal won't look nearly as good as your deal, but I'm glad to have that much at least. Any time someone wants to give me $10 for buying things I buy anyway, I'll take it happily!::yes::

After the week you've had, I think you deserve to do nothing. Don't apologize or feel badly. You get so much done the rest of the time it puts me to shame! Heck, even God rested on the 7th day.

I'm sure you're busy at work right now, so hope you have a fun day and come up with a design you love. I know you will.:thumbsup2

Glad to hear the Allegra is working for you and the itchies are going away. I saw that you are getting ready to open up orders for the fall. That will be after my trip, but I may try for one anyway. I showed some of your bags to Charlie and he was impressed with your talent!

Just 2 more days until my trip to Hawaii - I'm so excited!

T

Thanks for the encouragement! I'll check if I can have eggs cooked in things. That would help tremendously. I went to dinner at my MIL's and ate a salad while everyone else had lasagna, rolls, butter etc. and red velvet cookies for desert. Sigh. I did have two Dove dark chocolate squares and that helped a bit.

Josh and I were trying to discuss what we liked/didn't like about it, and I think I've come to the conclusion that it was just too metiphorical for me... It seemed that every single part of the movie was a metiphore, and I just don't like to have to think that much when I am watching a movie.

I remember having to read Anna Karenina for my summer reading right before senior year of high school. Hated it. Too much trying to decipher the metaphors. Especially during a hot summer when all I wanted to do was to lay by the pool and ogle the guys.

I hope I don't have to cancel the appointment, because this office does charge a $50 cancellation fee if the appointment is not canceled with in 24 hours. I am going to call them right away this morning to see if they have a weather policy though. Hopefully they do.

Doesn't their weather/cancellation policy depend on the lunch lady?

Sorry, I had to get that in.

Phew! I am running late today.... I just now returned from my trip to town. The fact that the roads are quite bad already didn't help matters much. But I did cancel our appointment for later this afternoon - the roads were not good now, and I can only imagine them getting worse as the day progresses.

Anyways... Before I head up to my sewing room - I had to share my morning coupon deals... I did amazing! If I do say so myself...

All of the items I purchased were on my grocery list for next week... Granted - with out coupons, I would not have purchase 3 fabric softeners (I would have purchased 1 - likely)... But...

My grand total at the register this morning was $124.44! Yikes! Remember, I was only plannig on buying -$19 in items... Yup - totally blew the budget on that one. Yes, it's Target - I thew more into my cart than I had initially planned... Doesn't everyone? :confused3 After all of my coupons and discounts, I paid... Drumroll please.... $47.08! :goodvibes That is a savings of $77.36 or 62%. Plus I got a $5 GC for later...

I am very happy with that!

And because I am a dork - this is everything I got for that - looking at this photo, I am not sure that this looks like $124 worth of stuff though:

20130304_101643.jpg

For reference... Those puppies in the top right corner in the photo would have cost me $20/each. And yes, I know they are not "necessary" purchases - but I have a new nephew coming, and with my coupons, they were only $5 each. :cool1:

OK - I must get to work now, I hope you all have a wonderful day!

D~

Very impressive! I used to coupon I so should again! And yes this is me rejoining but we all know how bad I am about coming to the board so we will see how long it lasts ;)

Love your coupon shopping...great job, D.

I'm sorry to hear the roads are bad. Stay warm and safe; they are predicting 8 - 10 inches for us starting tonight through all day tomorrow.

My sister and I will be in Hawaii for a week - we leave tomorrow morning - early and hopefully before the snow that you are getting heads this way! We leave the Big Island next Tuesday evening and get back into Baltimore at 4 pm - just in time for rush hour - which is really horrendous. Think we will find someplace to have dinner and wait the traffic out.

We are heading down to the airport tonight and will stay at a hotel close by that has a shuttle to the airport. We can leave the car at the hotel for the week for about $50, which is still cheaper than even the long term parking lot. Since the hotel is free (thank you Comfort Inn points!) it works out to $25 each!pixiedust:

I'll have to make my ADRs while on my trip, so I hope I have the time difference worked out correctly.:scared:

Thanks for the prayers for the new diet. I am learning a bit more every day, and we had been trying to eat "clean" for some time, so I still have a lot of those options. Breakfast is the most difficult, but I'll get used to it. I could have it so much worse.

It was tough the first couple of times they came to visit, but I've been keeping my eyes open and have been able to find foods that she will like(she is a kind of picky eater :rolleyes1) and is gluten free to keep on hand for their visits. Once you get used to eating that way, it gets easier.

D~ sorry for hijacking your post.

Yikes - that doesn't sound like fun at all. It's too bad that they can't find something that would work all the time.

It's not. They told me if I quit itching it that would help too. But it's kind of hard when I've been know to wake up from a dead sleep itching it. I've been thinking of going back to the dermatologist and seeing if there's anything else they can do than just look at it.

Great news about Josh's alternator!!

Sounds like some great savings!! I should get that job at Target I think it'd end up saving me in the long run. :rotfl2: Our closest one is less than 5 mins from me and I'm in there almost daily at times.

Phew! I am running late today.... I just now returned from my trip to town. The fact that the roads are quite bad already didn't help matters much. D~

Glad your able to stay home and not have to get out on those roads. Hope the office worked with you since the weather took a turn for the worse. Not something you could control.

I had to comment on the puppies. We have one my oldest DS was given as a baby and it's still going strong!!! All 3 of my kids have loved it and my 2 year old DS still plays with it at times. That is a great deal on them!!!

I love your new bag. The SSE turned out super great! I can see why Mr. Rocket complained though. My machine doesn't like quilted fabrics so much either. It looks perfect though so the extra effort was worth it.

We are also in for some bad weather. Ours will start tomorrow night according to the news. We are supposed to get 6 to 12 inches of snow. For your area, that probably isn't too bad but down here in MD, that's a lot of snow. Last year we didn't have more than a few inches and so far this year we've had practically nothing. If we get on the higher side, schools will be closed for a couple of days.

I also saw the Target add for the $10 off and took advantage of it on Sunday morning. It included Tide as part of the deal and that's that brand of detergent that I prefer. I wasn't thrilled though when I got to the store and they were already sold out of the Tide HE powder. I had to buy liquid detergent which is ok but the powder keeps the smell out of the HE washers better. I don't know why but it does.:confused3 Anyhow, I got 2 of them plus a big package of Viva paper towels. My total after taxes was $48.27. But then I had my $10 off coupon, so it came down to $38.27. Then I had a $3 off coupon for the Tide, so it was $35.27. But then I also had a $5 gift card that I got the last time for buying something else at Target. So my total ended up at $30.27! Not exactly your savings but I still thought that I did very well for me. I hardly ever use coupons so I was very happy with my savings.

I love the new bag! I can't even imagine hand cranking that much!! You seriously deserve kudos for that!!! And shame on Mr. Rocket for doing that to you!

THanks Lois... Yah - I think Mr. R heard swear words that he hasn't heard since his difficult arrival.

Thanks for the prayers for the new diet. I am learning a bit more every day, and we had been trying to eat "clean" for some time, so I still have a lot of those options. Breakfast is the most difficult, but I'll get used to it. I could have it so much worse.

I try very hard to eat clean too... I am much better than I used to be - that's for sure. I just wish I could eat clean & lose weight at the same time. :rolleyes1 Unfortunately - all of this clean food tastes so good... However - I can't even choke down the foods I used to eat - so that's a good thing.

I saw that Target spend $40 get $10 and am so going to take advantage of that! My deal won't look nearly as good as your deal, but I'm glad to have that much at least. Any time someone wants to give me $10 for buying things I buy anyway, I'll take it happily!

It is a great deal... I really want to go back and do it again, but the deal I get this time won't be quite as good - if I do it.

I would probably do 2 of fabric softeners again - the $6 worth of stacked coupons is just too good of a deal to pass up, IMO - then maybe put a box of Bounce dryer sheets in there for the 3rd item (you need to buy 3 to get the $6 off). I think the other thing I would get is the paper towels, but I only have 1 meesly $1 off coupon for those... I'd like to find more. That would bring me down to $23 before my discounts, so it isn't horrible... We will see - I would have to carve that $$ out of the budget somewhere - and I just don't see that happening right now.

After the week you've had, I think you deserve to do nothing. Don't apologize or feel badly. You get so much done the rest of the time it puts me to shame! Heck, even God rested on the 7th day.

LOL Lois... I feel like all I have done for the past 2 weeks is nothing. I have been such a slacker. :rolleyes1

I'm sure you're busy at work right now, so hope you have a fun day and come up with a design you love. I know you will.

Thanks Lois!

Oooh - I hope you can have eggs. Pardon my ignorance, but what sort of things can't you have? I know many with this allergy - but unfortunately, I haven't paid that much attention to it, so I am a little uneducated.

I can't imagine how hard it was for you to not be able to eat what everyone else is eating. Do you Facebook? I saw something really cool on there yesterday regarding salads - and it's something I want to try... I will pass on the info to you if I can.

I remember having to read Anna Karenina for my summer reading right before senior year of high school. Hated it. Too much trying to decipher the metaphors. Especially during a hot summer when all I wanted to do was to lay by the pool and ogle the guys.

Seriously... I thought it was just the movie that was deliberately done that way... That's how it's actually supposed to be? Yah - I didn't like it either. We had to read The Scarlet Letter in high school - and that was a toughie too... I remember not liking it because it was super hard to read, and I remember writing about that in my report and the teacher agreeing with me. The plot in the book was a good one, but I didn't like the book iteself.

Doesn't their weather/cancellation policy depend on the lunch lady?

Sorry, I had to get that in.

ROFL... I don't think today's closing had anything to do with the lunch lady... However - it wouldn't surprise me... We were delayed for 2 hours during the time where every school around us was closed for a 60 mile radius... It probably wasn't until AFTER they'd consulted the lunch lady that they closed. :rolleyes1

Very impressive! I used to coupon I so should again! And yes this is me rejoining but we all know how bad I am about coming to the board so we will see how long it lasts

I used to coupon too - but not like this. I would stack the deals when I could - but I wasn't nearly this organized, so I missed out on a lot. I think that organization is the key to this - honestly. But it takes sooo much time to be organized.

I did find a really awesome website a few years ago when I did coupon, and I was able to find it again last week... It's www.totallytarget.com and it shows you the best deals (including TPCs and Clearance) at local Targets - which is very helpful to me, since that's the store I shop the most. So, if I don't keep track of anything anywhere else, I do there.

I also found a couponing website for the MN/WI area - since the stores we have aren't the same as the best stores in the South - where most people can get the better deals... So if I ventre out to other stores, I can browse this website. www.creativecouponing.com Not sure if you have these stores by you, or if you are lucky enough to have more of the southern grocery stores - if not, maybe there is another website that tailors more to your area? It's worth a shot. :thumbsup2

Love your coupon shopping...great job, D.

I'm sorry to hear the roads are bad. Stay warm and safe; they are predicting 8 - 10 inches for us starting tonight through all day tomorrow.

Thanks Kathy... It was a total accident how I started doing it. I tried to do it a few years ago - but I was never this organized, so I missed out on a lot. Hopefully this time it's much easier to keep up with. And the fact that BFF is doing it too is quite helpful, because we share coupons, and of course - she has been known to do some of my shopping for me. :goodvibes

I hope you have the most wonderful trip T! And I hope you'll share some pictures here when you get back... I could use some warm/fun/sunshine... :beach:

We are heading down to the airport tonight and will stay at a hotel close by that has a shuttle to the airport. We can leave the car at the hotel for the week for about $50, which is still cheaper than even the long term parking lot. Since the hotel is free (thank you Comfort Inn points!) it works out to $25 each!

Awesome! That sounds like the perfect plan!

I'll have to make my ADRs while on my trip, so I hope I have the time difference worked out correctly.

Ack! I hope so too!!! Good luck - I can't wait to hear what you get!

It was tough the first couple of times they came to visit, but I've been keeping my eyes open and have been able to find foods that she will like(she is a kind of picky eater) and is gluten free to keep on hand for their visits. Once you get used to eating that way, it gets easier.

D~ sorry for hijacking your post.

Hijack any time you want... That's what I am here for. :rolleyes1

That is so awesome that you've been able to help everyone around you eat better, and enjoy it. :cheer2:

It's not. They told me if I quit itching it that would help too. But it's kind of hard when I've been know to wake up from a dead sleep itching it. I've been thinking of going back to the dermatologist and seeing if there's anything else they can do than just look at it.

Yah - you can't really control what you do in your sleep - I learned that during my sleep study. :rolleyes1

Great news about Josh's alternator!!

I agree - that's sort of how I justified my grocery shopping trip yesterday. :rolleyes1

Sounds like some great savings!! I should get that job at Target I think it'd end up saving me in the long run. Our closest one is less than 5 mins from me and I'm in there almost daily at times.

Most of the time, I spend more than I make... But now that I am not there as much, I am able to stick more to my budget.

Glad your able to stay home and not have to get out on those roads. Hope the office worked with you since the weather took a turn for the worse. Not something you could control.

Yah - as it turned out - I probably could have gone in for the appointment, as the bad snow didn't start until after dinner... But you just never know. :confused3 Still not sure if the office will work with me? The lady I talked to wasn't in charge of that, but she did make a note for the person who does.

I had to comment on the puppies. We have one my oldest DS was given as a baby and it's still going strong!!! All 3 of my kids have loved it and my 2 year old DS still plays with it at times. That is a great deal on them!!!

Awww... That's good to know. :thumbsup2 Hopefully the little guy will like it. I know that we loved F.P. stuff when the girls were little... Especially the Little Peoples - both Josh and I had them when we were little, and played with them tons... When the girls came a long - it was a must have for them too, and I hate to say that we even got into the action. :rolleyes1 I hope to send some over to The Netherlands for the little man when it's time.

One of my favorite photos of Josh playing Peoples with Allison... Awww... What happened to my babies????

I love your new bag. The SSE turned out super great! I can see why Mr. Rocket complained though. My machine doesn't like quilted fabrics so much either. It looks perfect though so the extra effort was worth it.

Awww... Thanks Diane.

I am sure you are getting the leftovers of our storm... There is a TON of snow out there, and it's still coming.

I think you did great - any savings is better than nothing! And it's not easy getting savings on items you buy all the time - so this is extra great!

Aside from my great coupon deals I posted from yesterday... It was a pretty uneventful day.

I was able to get my next bag quilted. I plan to work on the applique today... Then I think I will cut out, quilt and applique the wallet as well - if I have the time.

Today is a snow day for us - finally! Every school around us for 60 miles was closed when we got up this morning, our school was only a 2 hour delay. Then about an hour later, they closed. The girls are thrilled. Josh is home too, he came home early yesterday because his back was bothering him - he is still having issues this morning, and with the roads as bad as they are, it's probably better that he stayed home anyways. Even though the rest of my family gets to play today - I have to work.

My rash is slowly getting better... I still have bouts of itchiness, but it's much better than it was. All of the tape is gone off of my incisions, and they seem to be healing well. They are all bruised around them though, so I can only imagine what they did to me while I was "under". As of now, I have not had to take any of the prednisone. However, I did sleep on my neck funny the other night, and I am having issues turning it - adding to the fact that I still can't use my ab muscles to sit up in bed or turn - makes for difficult sleeping. But I will survive - as of now - I have not had any of my stomach pains, so I am hopeful that the surgery worked. :cheer2:

I hope you all have a wonderful day today - and those of you that are snow bound enjoy the crazy white stuff before it disappears for the season... I know MM is in his glory outside. :confused3

I'm very impressed with your Target deals! I was there Sunday and saw the signs for the $10 off, but the only thing I needed was the magic erasers. At least they were on sale - but I didn't need $40 worth :) Our nurse at work is leaving to go back to school so I bought her some to clean her nurses crocs :thumbsup2 I'm making her a back to school package.

I also noticed the mickey blanket on the couch in your picture - so you were a fan even back in the day ;)

FYI....I just looked at Southwest and the price seems to have gone down since this morning. My arrival flight was $210 this morning and is now $186....AAHHHHH....But I can't book it until I hear from Sara! Just wanted to let you know...maybe they run lunchtime specials??

Not sure why I am so far behind but I've been following along but not posting. I LOVE the SSE bag. The colors are beautiful and I can see why Mr. Rocket didn't want to cooperate with all that quilting. Amazing work.

How fun that you guys got some pixie dust in the mail. That is sure to brighten your day. V is a beautiful girl but she looks gorgeous in that picture with her hair and make-up done. Her smile is extra sparkly with her braces off. But I can see why Josh doesn't like it one bit. He's probably training MM to bark at all the boys that will be coming to your house.

Glad you seem to be recovering from the rash and I'm impressed with all your saving. It is nice to save money on things you already buy. I usually use "Southern Savers" website because she covers the grocery stores we have here. She also does Target and CVS. She has a video that walks people thru getting started with using coupons that would probably be helpful to anyone no matter what stores they shop at.

Hope everyone is enjoying their snow day.

Wow D, I love the Spaceship Earth bag!

I'm really impressed by your couponing skills. The laugh n learn puppy is adorable. That's a steal at $5. Your nephew will love it.

I've been very bad about getting on here lately but so glad to hear you are healing well. Hope you got a lot done on your snow day. We are preparing for POSSIBLE snow here tomorrow into Thursday. We are close to the rain/snow line and lower (2-4 inches) amounts but it could be more. We have not missed a full day due to snow yet this year. Gonna due my best to get more of my TR X 2 updated soon and maybe start ANOTHER PTR for California this summer.
