I agree that you are tired because it is your body is still healing. Give yourself some time and rest when you need to. My husband had some issues with the anesthesia for about a week after his surgery. I guess each of us reacts differently.
I am glad to hear that I am not the only one... I am starting to feel better little by little.
YAY! She's up! Don't move too much and take it SLOW.. otherwise you'll be dizzy again...
I am trying.
LOVE your Duffy bag. You captured Mickey so perfectly.
Thanks Liz... I do love how that bag turned out.
I agree and I really hope you don't have to delay your trip because I'm not sure I can wait another year to see your bag.
Me too - Hopefully not... I am sick and tired of things coming up and me trying to figure everything out... I just want to go and have fun.
D~ I am so glad your surgery went well and can't believe you were able to list your auction. It sounds like your body needed to rest so I'm glad you were able to sleep. Good to hear that you are feeling better today but make sure you take it easy.
LOL Yah - if you look back at my posts for that day... They're a little funny. I am just glad that all I had to do was copy and paste, I am not sure I could have done much more.
D~!
I meant to tell you yesterday - after my surgery last October, it took f-o-r-e-v-e-r for me to get over the anesthesia. Literally weeks. I was beginning to think I had brain damage.

Just felt drained and like I was moving in a fog and could not string more than 2 thoughts together. I am happy to say, it did finally go away. And if that's the price of having such an easy time with everything else related to the surgery, I am glad to pay it.
Thanks for telling me this... This is exactly how I am feeling. It's quite crazy, I've been trying to work on my menu/grocery list all week, and I finally just gave up and sent my list to my bff... There is no way that I can concentrate at all to figure anything out... I just kind of zone out. It's so weird. Every day is getting better and better, but I just can't seem to concentrate or focus on anything.
I also wondered if your dates for your trip are set in stone, because if not, Magical Vacations Travel does a Labor Day special that is unbelievable! Grace Ellen and I stayed at the Grand Floridian over the long Labor Day weekend and while you can look at it as saving on the room or saving on tickets, assuming gate price for her ticket (I have an annual pass), we paid ~$130/night for a very nice room with a water view near Narcoosee's. They had a few choices of hotels (one of the Epcot resorts, and something else I can't remember, and the Grand) to choose from.
They are a bit set in stone... We are there as late as we can be there... I want the girls to have a few days to recover before they go back to school. That does sound like an amazing deal though....
So where was the appointment?
Around here, we get a phone call, on the day before, from our doctors and dentists reminding us of our appointments.
LOL I still have no idea where that appt was... No one ever called me. I called the Dr. and the dentist... So beyond that - I have no idea.

I am sure that someone is quite annoyed with me right now.
Glad you were feeling a little better this morning...hope you still are going strong!
I made some ADRs...getting the new computer today, so look for an update soon!
Thanks Suzi! I can't wait to see what some of your ADRs are... I've been watching for an update - I hope I didn't miss it... I will go look again.
May all your Drs appointments go so well you won't have to see them anymore.
And...I've got my manager's hat on here...at least look on the silver lining - all of this is happening well in advance of your trip and you're not going through this while missing magic.
Hope the sewing went well.
Thanks Ruth!

I ended up rescheduling my podiatrist appt yesterday... I wasn't feeling up to driving into town.
I sure hope this is resolved before our trip - it better be. LOL
I am behind again. I didn't realize I missed so much. Sorry you are not feeling like yourself. I do not take anything ever, but Tylenol, so meds hit me hard if I have to take them. Recovering from my csection was the worst. I hope the anesthesia wears off soon and you start feeling better.
And I know you don't want to get behind, but you need to rest right now. When you feel better, you may just be extra productive to make up for it. But if you don't rest now you may feel yucky for a longer time. Zzzzzzzz....sending rest and pixie dust.
Thanks!

I am on day 3 of no meds at all - which is good - I think.
I hope I don't done fall too far behind in my sewing room.
**********************************************************
I managed to quilt my current bag yesterday, which I was very happy with. The last few pieces were really hard because I just wanted to sleep - but I managed to muddle through it.
I plan to work on the applique today... and depending on how it goes - I hope to start just a bit of assembly this afternoon.
I've been trying to work on my menu/grocery list all week, but I just haven't been able to concentrate on it... So, I made my menu and I made my grocery list off of it - but that's as far as I got. I finally handed it off to my bff, and she was able to find the best deals for me. We had some awesome coupons that expired yesterday, so she did some of my shopping yesterday, and she is doing a bit more today... Then she is coming down to deliver this afternoon.

I am so lucky to have her! I am still going to have to shop on Friday - but it will be very minimal - and basic stuff, like milk, bread and eggs...
Today is the BIG DAY!!! I get my oven back, and I cannot wait!

This has been one big frustration for me, and I will be happy to be able to cook a "normal meal" again.
I hope you all have an amazing day... And thank you so much for your continued thoughts and prayers.
D~
