D~ Playing catch up once again very glad to read your surgery is over and all is good. Love the trip pages you started I still have not booked trying hard to wait for Fall dscounts to be offered and not jump the gun like I usually do.
Hi Sheila! It's great to see you!

I agree - I wish some good fall discounts would come out!
Don't worry about everyone thinking you are copying the idea for the bag. There are only a handful of people here who see the launches, and even fewer of them who don't read this...so everyone will know it is a D original. We all know how much thought and hard work you put into your bags....why else do you think I want a 3rd one??? If it is the perfect applique to make the bag come together, then go for it!
Thanks Suzi!
Glad your Duffy auction went well. I was tempted....but I will hold out for the next GAC one. I love my "mine mine mine" zip wallet, but it is a smudge small. Kinda hard to get frequently used cards out. The GAC looks perfect.
That is really a bummer - I wish you would have said something sooner.
Glad you guys are liking Downton. I am still very upset with them for how season 3 ended. You'll see
Unfortunately I kind of know what happens, I don't know how it happens, but I know who it happens to - and I am a lot sad about it.
Ugh...through your belly button! Bill had that done when they fixed his Hermia. Not fun to take care of. I think we went through thousands of qtips and rubbing alcohol that month!
I know - it really sucks!
Have a great Sunday! It is snowing again here....since yesterday morning. I am so ready for Spring now!
Thanks - Me too - I am sooooo ready for spring!
The two incisions that drove me crazy were the lower right one and the belly button one. The belly button one made it difficult for me to wear jeans for a few weeks...and the lower right one still itches a bit to this day!
Yes, that lower right one itches the most... I have no idea what I am going to wear to town this morning - since i know I can't wear jeans.
I remember quite some time ago you mentioned that you were going to open up more spaces (for later this year) in March. I actually have a reminder on my phone to ask you about that! LOL! Was wondering how your schedule was looking for later this year.
Yes, I do plan to begin taking orders again at the end of March for delivery between Sept 2013 and Feb 2014.
While I am glad you are keeping so busy (meaning lots and lots of Disney trips in your future!) I am sad that it means I might not be able to get another D bag for a while!
Nini
I sure hope that keeping busy means more Disney trips.
I totally agree with Suzi. Make the bag you originally had the vision for and don't worry about what anyone may think. Anyone who knows you, knows you are an idea machine and would never NEED to case anything. And the fact that you have the blessing of the person who made the dress, I would say GO FOR IT!
Thanks Lois!
Glad you braved the bandage removal and that you got your shower. That in itself makes you feel better! Sorry about the troublesome incision. Hope you're back to perfect in no time.
It does make me feel better, but I think I am having an alergic reaction to the iodine - every place they had it, I have an awful red and itchy rash... Planning to get some benedryl cream when I go to town this morning.
You're so lucky to have someone to watch Downton Abby with! Still I love that show and enjoy it all by my onsies!
It's a good show - we all love it. We are just sad that we only have about 5 more episodes to watch, then we will have nothing to watch for months.
Whether you veg out today, sew or whatever, hope you have a wonderful time. This is the first day I've felt like doing much, so I plan to go down and play with my new machine while DH watches Nascar. Can't wait! (oh, and I spent some time last night and the better part of this morning pouring over the fabrics at fabric.com. You should have issued an enabler alert my friend!)
I hope you had fun playing with your new machine. Sorry about the fabric.com sucking you in - it does it to me all the time. I love that you get free shipping with only a $35 order - I fall for that giimik all the time.
I forgot about the belly button incision LOL.
So happy your duffy bag went with a bidding war, I forgot to go bid LMAO.
I may need to watch Dwonton Abbey but I just don't know where I would have time
I say make the bag you want people won't think you are copying.
Thanks Chiara.

Yes, if you ever find a spare moment - you need to watch Downton Abbey - it's just wonderful... And I like to think it is teaching my girls a few more refined manners.
I'm glad you finally worked up the nerve and sorry the belly button scar is so annoying! Hopefully it will settle down soon so all is back to pain and itch free!
I hope so too - thanks!
Hopefully with your auctions and such you'll be able to pay off the trip no problem! I've been worried about that but am trusting the house will rent eventually. I would have bid a bit higher, but since the people chose a different house on Friday I couldn't justify it. However, if you did another Duffy bag I'd totally bid again! Or something with a redhead...just saying!
No worries, I totally understand.... That bag went for quite a bit, and I wasn't expecting it to - that's for sure.
I love Downton too! I'm obsessed and Season 3 there was some disappointment, but I guess their hands were tied.
It's such a great show - even Josh likes it - which is funny.
Hope you get a lot of rest and relaxation or sewing done. I'm anxious to see what you've created for your park bag!
Thanks! It will be a while before I finish my own park bag, because I am full with orders over the next few weeks... But I will work on it as I can.
aw the shower a little bit of heaven, when I first got in there after getting hurt I stayed in so long I thought I would drain the hot H2o tank
I agree - it was so nice... Now if I could just get rid of this stupid rash.
I agree continue on with the UPB as planned
I will - it's just so hard.
You mentioned idea of villians, do you know about the Limited Time Magic planned for Villians at DHS for the 13th hour on Fri Sept 13th I think you should do something re-that, maybe even with a clock striking the 13th hour ? I don't have any skills like most of you, just some thoughts
I did not - but I bet this will play in perfectly with my plan!
Downton Abbey is now what I watch in the studio while sewing. Since I miss every third or fourth word, I can watch the same episode several times without it becoming old....
LOL it's definately one of those shows where you must hear everything!
I am a bit concerned with what I will do when I have watched all 3 seasons though...and yes, I read all the spoilers and know what is happening on the third season...and not very happy about it as a viewer....but oh well.
Nini
ACK... I know too - I just down know the specifics - so I am trying not to get too attached to him - even though he is so awesome!
Now, we are only 3 episodes into the 3rd season, but I sure wish they would fix the issue with Mr. Bates - that is getting annoying and old.
Sorry to hear you had to have surgery, but sounds like you came out of it well. How much does a gall bladder weigh? Every time I donate blood I figure that's one pound I don't have to work at losing.
Hi Cheryl!!! I've missed you! Not a clue how much it weighed??? I really wanted to see the gall stones, but I didn't ask.

I would have loved to have seen what was causing me all of my pain.
The Duffy bag is so cute. I'm too far out of the cool dude loop to know how popular Duffy is, but I love the sailor theme and your bag is a masterpiece as always.
Thank you! It was a fun bag to make, that's for sure!
Go with what you had originally planned on your bag. Especially since you got the approval of the dress maker. Now you've got me curious and I may have to go back and relook at the launch dresses to see if I could figure it out.
LOL Good luck.
Glad you were able o get the bandages pulled off. I do remember when my mom had shoulder surgery a long time ago she'd complain about how bad the itching was. Hope your able to have a relaxing day today with whatever you decide to do.
Thanks Sandra - we did have a nice relaxing day.
**********************************************************
I didn't do much of anything yesterday...
I did not take any of my strong meds, I was able to just take Tylenol all day. Not sure why - but even just Tylenol makes me dizzy and tired - which is very unusual for me. I have not taken anything at all since 8pm last night... I have to run into town this morning, so I am trying to hold of until I get home, just in case. Because if Tylenol is making me weird, I certainly don't want to be driving.
I am still having a bit of pain - mostly when I try to take a deep breath... It's almost like my insides hurt if I breathe in too deeply. Sneezing and caughing is also awful. All of my rib incisions just itch like crazy... My belly button incision hurts, and I think I had an alergic reaction to the iodine, because my whole stomach, where the iodine was, is all red/puffy/itchy. Plan on getting some Benedryl cream while I am in town today.
I have an appointment at 8am this morning... But, yet again, I failed to enter in the place - so I have no idea where I am supposed to be.

Hopefully it's nowhere important.

I will call the Dr's office promptly at 8 though, just to make sure that the appointment isn't for there.
I will be starting my next bag order as soon as I get home.
I hope you all have a fantastic day!
D~
