I hope today's pain goes away quickly and things can get back to normal. Well, the new normal without your stomach pain
It must be like Christmas morning when you get a big box of fabric like that...

Can't wait to see it all in action!
Thanks Suzi!
Yes, it's sort of like Christmas morning... It's so fun to see some of the fabrics together.
when I got to the part about Lynn and the sign that your Dis family was with
you I lost it, had to wipe my eyes and try to keep focusing
thanks alot I'm emotionally exhausted and its not even 8 am
I hope your day went better yesterday.
you take care of yourself go slow and enjoy your teddy grahams
I am trying to go slow, but it's not working very well.
Your mini-planner is so cute! Love the Duffy bag!
I'm so glad you're feeling better! Remember to take it easy! Ruth
Thank you Ruth!

I am trying to go slow, and do easy things.
So glad you're already starting to feel better! Praying the pain subsides and life is pain free for you from now on! The mini planner pages are cute!
Thank you - I love doing the mini-planners, they just work so well in the parks. The part I find most useful are the notes in the bottom rigth hand corner where I list how our meals need to work for that day. It really helps me budget so we don't run out at the end.
I really love the Duffy bag. We had some possible tenants come look at our house yesterday and are waiting to hear if they will rent it or not. I'm a nervous wreck waiting to find out! (They asked us to drop the rent $50, we offered to drop it $25, but told the realtor ultimately we need renters in so we'd drop the $50 if that was all they could do.) Anyways, all that to say, praying we find out today that they want to rent, then maybe i can bid a time or two more on the bag! It's adorable!
Thank you! I sure hope you are able to rent out your unit, that must be so stressful. Josh manages his step-mom's duplex, and sometimes it's pretty rough to try to get good tennants in there.
I am glad to hear the surgery went so smoothly. I hope the pain is gone soon. I love the mini-planner pages and the Duffy bag was so adorably cute. I won't even allow myself to go to the auction page. It would be too much of a temptation. Have a great day today.
Thanks! I love that Duffy bag too - I am not sure how I am going to part with it. LOL
Thanks for the update. I love that one of your nurses had Disney pins!! And I'm glad that made you feel like your DIS buddies were with you. God just adds those little extra bonuses when we least expect it.
Exactly... Is was very nice... I didn't ask her about them at all - but it was nice to have a fellow Disney lover there.
I had a question: where do you order your fabric? I love the visual of you tearing into a box of fabric. As someone else said, must feel like Christmas!
Well, I guess it depends. This particular order came from Fabric.com... I like to order from them, because once you get up to $35, you get free shipping. I also don't get charged sales tax. They were also running a sale when I ordered, so not only did I get free ship and no tax, but I got 20% off my entire order too.
I also purchase a lot of my fabric on Etsy and Ebay - only because it's easiest to pay with Paypal.
Very rarely do I go to JoAnn's these days, because normally they don't carry the selection I need for the fabrics I like to use for my bags. Hancocks has a better selection.
Hope you pain goes away soon. Meanwhile take it easy and enjoy those teddy grahams!
Thanks! I will update below.
happy to hear you are feeling so well! keep resting for a couple more days! have fun with your new fabric!
Thanks Lisa!
totally love your planner pages. I so need to get mine started for our trip in March. I missed having it in December and with me and my pregnancy brain I think it is a necessity this time around
LOL I totally agree - I hope you can find the time to do them.
I am new to this thread...so ill just comment on what I read/saw...
Welcome! Glad to have you here.
That puppy is just sooo cute. I am so sorry your doggie went up to doggie heaven. I know how sad that is =( we recently just got a new puppy and he is the love of our lives!!
Thanks... Yes, it was so hard when Ruf died. Hard to believe it's been almost a year already. MM - our new puppy - is just a crazy man, and has added so much craziness to our family.
Those bags...the outfits...the planner pages....everything is so cute!! You do a great job!!
Awww... THanks!
I hope you are feeling better. Pain is never a good thing. Hopefully the meds do its job.
Thank you - they seem to be working quite well.
Looks like you guys are going to have a fun time. I have always wanted to do blizzard beach. Looks like so much fun!! I secretly want to do our Make a Wish trip in the later summer so we can go!
We have always wanted to do the water parks too -b
ut we've never been able to, because we'd have to sacrafice a park day to go. So, this time, we are planning to go for 2 extra days so we can try out both water parks.
I can't believe you posted your auction stuff after just having surgery.
LOL - I know - I was a bit woozy when I did it. But I am so glad I had everything ready to go the day before.
When I saw it posted on Thursday I thought for a second you had postponed your surgery. But I have to say that the Duffy/Mickey bag is probably my favorite now.
I love it too - I am tempted to make a similar one for myself.
We have that Duffy book where the image came from and it just reminds me of my boys who are now HUGE Duffy fans.
So glad you are feeling better but that stinks about the oven.
Thanks... Yah - I am not happy about my oven... The timing with my surgery has not been good, since I am forced to eat greasier foods... We have had to cook a lot of things in the deep fryer, which we don't normally do.
Glad verything went well yesterday!
Still love the auction bag. Now to decide what my max is.
Love the mini planner pages.
Thanks Sandra!
**********************************************************
Well, I worked on washing fabric yesterday. That's always so much fun!
Since V's fabric for her bag was in the wash, I decided to work on one of my bags for our trip... I was able to get it cut out and mostly quilted.
I also laid down to take a nap - that felt so nice.
Josh made dinner last night - so that was great!
Then the girls and I watched another 2 episodes of Season 2 Downton Abbey... We are sooo addicted to that show!
Today - I may go up to my sewing room and finish quilting my bag - then I plan to do nothing for the rest of the day... Although I may crank out a few planner pages?
As for my pain - I feel like I am doing quite well. I am starting to get pain now from the actual incisions vs. general uppper body pain. I am supposed to take the bandages off today so that I can shower, but I really don't want to - I am afraid I will barf at the sight of them. Yikes! But Josh says I need to expose them to air so that they can heal.

Maybe later this afternoon, I will build up my nerves?
I hope you all have a nice weekend and thank you for your continued prayers.
