This was our first trip to PBH, and our first club level visit. With two teenagers, it seemed to be an easy choice. We were lucky to receive a PIN code approximately a month prior, so this was a quick choice visit.

We originally wanted hrh or RPR but there were no PIN code rooms left, so PBH it was!

We arrived from western Florida (1st part of visit) on 2 pm on Sunday. To our suprise, our room 2263 was ready. If you want a quiet peaceful room, DO NOT request this room! It was a beautiful beach pool view room with easy access to the beach pool, but once there was the beach pool parties or the dive in movies-- you could hear everything. We spoke the dialogue along with Karate Kid in our room = it was that LOUD! We could also view the fireworks from our room.

The club level was wonderful. However, parents need to watch their young children. Many times we saw children manhandling the food- like touching each bagel and then put them all back! :( Parents watch your children! There were some times when we couldn't find a seat so we bussed our own table. Breakfast and lunch was the same each time. Evening and sweet hour was different. Some people were still manhandling the food and cheese.
The club level did not open early and adhered strictly to posted schedule. highlights were seafood paella, the Pinot Grigio, smoked cheese, fresh fruit and the tiramisu. The cannoli was good but still tasted slightly frozen.

Parks:

Our last visit was 2009, so this was our first experience with WWOHP. Forbidden Journey was all I expected and more. The single rider line is wonderful. There were a few times when we had to ask for it to open, but the TM's did it willingly. The locker hordes were awful so please stop standing in the middle of the aisle so others can get through.

Studios looks so different without Jaws! RRR is a decent coaster, but I will wish they had Express for it- our longest wait was for a single rider line for this.

The early entry hour is wonderful. IOA opened at 745. We never did USF early entry.

MISC:

On the 19th and 20th, crowd levels were low. Starting the 21st, it was so crowded! I was so glad to have express.

Ipads are NOT cameras!

Boat transportation was pretty decent. My son and I used the resort buses twice during a rainstorm. THey do not allow standing on the buses!

:lmao:

We were there at the same time and must have seen the same crazy people holding up their iPads all over the parks. Indeed. The iPad. Not a great camera choice for a wet, crowded place.

Sorry about the noisy room. That must have been frustrating.

I complained about the noise from the dive in movies. The first few days it was fine, but it got progressively louder as the week went on. After the Karate Kid fiasco, I complained to the front desk. The last night A night at the Museum was playing and we heard no volume-- but we did hear the pool party that night- EVERY NOTE of EVERY SONG

I would have opted for a quieter room. One day after walking 3+ miles (I checked on my pedometer app) all I wanted to do was rest. The DJ was blasting right near the room. You could turn on the TV to drown some of it out, but I really shouldn't have to do that.

Other info:

Club level allows acess to Mandera spa. You can use the womens and mens lounge as well as the co ed hydro spa/co ed lounge. The womens lounge was beautiful. There was a eastern Asian /Indian influence with dark woods/dark green. The womens lounge had changing rooms, free computerized lockers, nice showers, robes and all types of products (hairspray, gel, razors, female stuff). There were peppermint towels for feet and hands as well as cucumber infused towels. There were tons of recent magazines and newspapers as well.

Hubby said that the mens lounge was set up very similarly.

The hydro pool was nice and very private. The temperature was pretty low but the jets were pretty strong.

I hope it wasn't us Cindy B! We were right across the hall with the bunch of kids. We strictly watch our children though. I'm glad you weren't there for the paella on 8/27. I observed a special needs kid scooping the paella and then cleaning off the serving spoon with her finger. The mother was oblivious and just stared at the boat dock. At least the next person had a clean spoon!

We have had your room in the past and liked the large window overlooking the beach pool. Although this is the first year that I have seen a DJ poolside. Lot's of fun for the beach poolers, not so much for peace and quiet seekers.
