Attraction seating - 2 adults only for 3 preschoolers

My husband and I will be travelling with our 5 year old and our almost 3
year old twins. We are concerned that for many of the rides, such as Dumbo,
1 adult can't go on the attraction with 2 children. If we each ride with one
of our twins, we are concerned that our 5 year old may not want to go on an
attraction with a stranger. How would you recommend managing this situation and where can we read about the seating configuration of each ride? We were planning to use the Dumbo or die in one day touring plan. Is that doable in our case ?

You should be able to fit the twins in with one adult, and the other adult can ride with your older child. Your 5 year old could also ride on his own, if they (and you) would be comfortable with that. You might try allearsnet (the page for dumbo is http://allearsnet.com/tp/mk/mk_dumbo.htm for example) or a guidebook from your local library for specific ride information.

Taking a quick look at the dumbo or die plan...the only obvious problem I see is astro orbiter - either the older child will need to ride alone or you'll need to be creative with the cars since adults and children seem to sit inline, not side by side.

Unfortunately Dawnball isn't correct as wdw requires a child be 7 and meet the height restriction to ride alone.

However like I said on my other post to you you will be fine as 2 kids and one adult. FWIW we fit on astro orbiter, although its the one ride I won't repeat, between the hot smelly elevator and the most uncomfortable ride vehicle my dd's and I now skip that one YMMV

Anything the twins can ride you can do as 2 children 2 adult in one car, seat or row with the other adult and child the other car, seat or row. Most times you will be in the same vehicle or hunnypot even!

I don't know what dumbo or die is but I know the vehicles so if you have specific questions please don't hesitate to ask.

1 adult with the twins, the other with the 5 year old. that situation becomes much easier when your 5 year old is about 9 or 10 and wants to ride alone. I'm 14 and I don't really care anymore....i'll ride with a stranger if i have to, but usually the CMs dont put kids with strangers, so dont worry about that.

From what I remember, on most of the rides we were able to fit at least three into the seat (and that was two adults and a toddler) but....

if you have a problem you can always do the opposite of "pass the kid" rule. Usually, on rides which kids can't go on, they allow the whole family to be in line and for one adult to go and the other adult stands to the side with the kids. When the first adult rider comes back the 2nd passes the kids over and the 2nd adult gets a turn. You could do the opposite - "pass the adult" - I'm sure if there was a ride which didn't work for your configuration, a parent could wait until the other was done to pass a different kid in! It might not be totally ideal, but better than getting in line again.
