Attn: VMK - Will the Fireworks & General Game Lag Ever End?

We know you want to know how players feel -- well, I thought I would share. For the past few weeks the lag in fireworks and the game in general, has been truly awful. In lobbies, in our rooms...it's so slow that you cannot type or move sometimes. It's really hard to have conversations this way. My enjoyment of actually "playing" the game has lessened somewhat because of this, and I truly wish it didn't.

In fireworks, sometimes the lag starts in the beginning of a game, and sometimes it doesn't hit until the middle. But whenever it starts, it's so jumpy that it's impossible to hit anything. The arrow keys also end up sticking, so the icons don't change. I usually end up quitting these games.

Fireworks is the one game I play to make credits, and I never thought I would adjust to the Remixed version. Well I have, but I have not been able to play it much in the past few weeks due to terrible lag. I know there are many others who are experiencing this lag, but still those who are lucky enough to have no lag at all. I'm wondering if this is something you are aware of, or if it's just a select few of us that are having this trouble. Is this just how it is going to be from now on...?

All of the mini games must be suffering with lag. Its next to impossible to make any credits anymore. Sweet and I play pirates all the time and the response time when you shoot and turn are horrible. Then the game freezes up...all movement stops then all of a sudden boats are flying like its a speed boat race. No wonder we run out boats on ground lol

I think the most frustrating thing for me is the fact that lag doesn't hit everyone the same way or even at the same time.

I complain about lag and people have sometimes said it wasn't really so bad or I was just making it up. Then someone was playing with me at my house in the same room as me and I had a particularly bad day of lag. Sometimes we got it at the same time, but I had it a lot more often, including freezes, and lots of times mine was a lot worse than hers. However, sometimes her lag was worse. When VMK crashed several times, we usually didn't crash together!

I have been having lag issues in fireworks also the past two weeks or so. Most of the time if its going to be a lag filled game it starts right at the beginning and I know its going to be a bad game so I try to adjust my clicks and at least get the credits I can out of the game. Some is better than none at this point is the way I see it. I noticed too in some games I click the fireworks at the times I always did before for flawless and still only get awesome. And it won't be just one, it will happen for like five or six fireworks in a row then is goes back to being flawless again. I thought the problem might be when vmk is near to being full but the other day I was home in the middle of the day because I had been at the dentist and there were only like 1300 players in the game and it was still lag in fireworks. I guess its more to do with vmk in general than any certain condition like the number players in the game.

I notice an horrible lag this past weeks and it is more and more often, especially in fireworks. I know i click\exploded the symbols for a perfect as ScooterJake says but no, i got bad. And well, you can see your character moving slowly too, so is not our imagination. We can read here a lot, lots of people with the problem and i have fast connection even i tried changing from XP to Vista but no luck so the problem is not in my side. Maybe it have to do with the new stuffs? and im noticed too that the scoreboard is not updating..i dont know if im right, but i just thought that like yesterday trought today is still at GoffyGoggey..etc

Welcome to DIS! Nah, I've tried in the mornings, during the day and evening too...still problems.

Yeah i tried earlier and every few seconds in game were really bad, especially at start and middle. But is like it were to kind of lag..the one that the game tend to be like a matrix game or just the miss hit explotions with no reason
