Thanks for the compliments! This was not that hard to do - I used dark transfer paper, and just trimmed around the letters with the backing still on. I would not do it with small letters - these were large and easy to trim around. Then I just peeled and placed until I liked the layout. Cover with your top sheet (hopefully fits under just one!) and iron very carefully for the first few seconds. I placed the iron down for a few seconds, lifted it and placed it elsewhere until they were no longer "wiggly", then ironed normally. Really not too tough, and they turned out to be some of the best (and most complimented) shirts on our trip.
