Attire for Disney Wonder..

first Disney cruise in March... What is the attire like for dinner?
The only "dress code" for the Main Dining Rooms on DCL is "no swimwear or tank tops at dinner". Beyond that, you'll see all manner of dress. There may be a Dress Up night, or Formal night, depending on the cruise length, but, even then, it's just a "suggestion". Not set in stone.

You'll find shorts and tshirts to more fancy dress on most nights.

One of my favorite parts of DCL is the very casual (I think they call it cruise casual) dress code for dinner.

I am on vacation and you will see me in shorts 100% of the time I am on a DCL boat. :cool1:

I think the "formality" tends to lean towards nicer the longer the cruise is. On our 14 night cruise, I would say a good 25% of the men were in tuxes on formal night. I doubt you would see 5% in tuxes on a 3 night cruise.

Also there is one night is pirate night. You can dress like a pirate if you want.

We saw almost no one in shorts at dinner on our last cruise. We were surprised because we were wearing casual slacks and oxford type shirts every night (males) and slacks/skirt (females) and everyone around us was more dressed up than us. We forgot to bring shoes for our 7 year old except crocs and even though he was wearing them with little slacks, I noticed one night a server did a double take and on another night some one at a nearby table said, "nice shoes," in kind of a weird way. I think crocs might technically not be allowed in the dining room? Not sure. I have been on other cruises with dcl that seemed more casual. I guess it just depends on who is on the cruise.

There's no set dress code for shoes in the MDR.
