Well, it's a good thing that Spring has sprung and that it's getting to be nice enough weather to go out and shake your tail feathers. Tomorrow night, Saturday, March 21st, at 10:00pm Eastern time, the DIS is going down for 5 to 6 hours of maintence.

Plan accordingly. I hear that a major upgrade is coming. Cross your fingers for something fun.

One could hope its to a new server or IP with a more stable connection that can handle the load and prevent the hangs between pages...making the search work better would be a bonus too.

Well, the "upgrade" didn't help the board response, freezing, still happens, looks like the only thing that came up was the new policy, makes you wonder if it was brought down so a search of the millions of threads could be done and locks/scrubbing could be done more then actually fixing the problems that exist!

I usually click on a thread, or comment.....then I leave to go to the bathroom, refill my coffee and stop and talk to a co-worker.

By then it's usually up.

Feel like I'm running on dialup.
