Attention all Disneyland "regulars"

Hi everybody. Was just wondering if people could help me out with collecting DL exclusive pins. We don't go to DL so it's hard for me to get the pins I want that are only sold there. Likewise it is also hard for me to get the CM lanyard pins that are only there, i.e. the postage stamp series. So my proposal for you is this, I send you my traders through the mail, along with a list of traders I would like for you to try and find for me. No time limit, within reason, and you send me back the ones I ask for. I will pay for all shipping fees and will even reimburse you for the time it took for you to get them. I'm not looking for people who vacation there from across the country because I don't want you spending your time looking for pins for me when you should be enjoying your trip. I'm talking about locals that frequent there, or maybe even CM's that go there on their time off. Please PM me and maybe we can work something out. Thanks.

Just thought I'd let you know the postage stamp series, of which i am STILL missing a few, was not a Cast Lanyard series. They were given to guests at the hotels, similar to mints on the pillow. These pins were VERY difficult for "locals" to acquire.

Most of CM pins are hidden mickey pins...

Have you tried pinpics? Or dizpins? I can't remember off hand, but one of them has a forum type thing where you send requests to others and do mail trades. You make a list of your wants and trades and that's how it works. Hope that helps.

I went on Ebay & bought a lot of several pins for a low price (it was over a yr ago, I can't remember how much!) - I have no idea if they were DL exclusive or not but CM's traded w/ the kids.

I just did it for them - IDK much about it, it was our first time doing the trading...

I'm not sure if I understand what you are asking, but there are pins that are Cast Lanyard pins exclusive to the Disneyand Resort. Other than trading (or buying online) you cannot purchase them elsewhere. As a PP said, they are also often called Hidden Mickeys because they have a little Mickey head hidden on them somewhere.

Many collectors hunt (and I do mean hunt like prey) for Hidden Mickeys to collect complete sets.

Ahhhhhh.....Thank you DisneyDreams! I was never a "hunter" so the need escaped me. I did it the cheap, non-official way. The eqivalent of buying my meat pre-packaged in a grocery instead of hunting for it like prey.
