Earlier today I received an e-mail from Liz (aka Tinkerbells Magic). Her family's circumstances have eroded considerably since their August 17th Western Magic Cruise. The dear woman has been too busy trying to keep her loved ones, and herself, intact. One could say she is operating on "survival mode" at present.
In her letter, Liz noted her regret at not returning to these boards to let everyone know how enjoyable her cruise had been. She is also fearful that the majority of people here are angry with her for avoiding all contact after the cruise. Considering all the issues she must currently face, every Dis-er here (and good ole Shipahoy) can take comfort in the thought that you helped to bring joy into the lives of a family truly in need of the esence of "The Mouse" - compassion and understanding.
Don't take life's basic pleasures for granted, folks. Hug your spouse, kiss the kids and spend quality family time together both ON and OFF your cruise!
All the best.
