Atlantis at the KSC - New Exhibit :)

I love Florida, WDW and all the rest but my heart lies with space and the Kennedy Space Centre, so when I read this I was very very excited, even at 42 years old !!!!

Me too.

We have had great trips to KSC, were AP holders 1 year, not sure if I want to see the Shuttle grounded, same as Concord, amazing seeing it in NY, fantastic flying over our heads but no interest in seeing it grounded.
Maybe I will change opinion in a few years but now no plans to see it.

i think i'd like to see it, grounded or not...

as for the concord, i saw her the very last time she was in New York...
i was on another plane, don't remember where i was headed, but we were in a terribly long line of planes (as is usually the case in new york).....
the pilot came on saying the concord was there - i don't recall if it had just landed or was about to take off.....

he said how it was the plane's last time in new york...

and all the planes in line turned to face towards it as it drove by....sort of like a salute of all the planes as the concord passed.....and you could hear the emotion in our pilot's voice....

That's funny.... we are also saving up our pennies and really hoping to go in 2013 and would make KSC a must-see too... perhaps we'd see you there?
