Atlantic City question (not casino related)

Hi, I know there are quite a few DISers in the ATlantic City area and was hoping someone would know the answer.

There is/was a mall along the boardwalk. I do not remember the name, but it was down towards the opposite end from the Tropicana. It's been a couple of years since we've been up there and last time we were, we were told that the mall would be closed for a couple of years for renovation/remodelling.

Does anyone know if it's done and if the mall has reopened? We're heading up for the day tomorrow and wanted to walk around through it if it is.

The Oceans mall on the waterside of the boardwalk is still closed. There is a new outlet mall near the Sheraton and the new AC convention center.
Its still nice enough to walk the entire length of the boardwalk, the small stores along the way are open. I always go to the taffy store in the Tropicana for salt water taffy.

No, it is near the train station and entrance to AC expressway. You can check when you get to AC for shuttle information. I know the jitney goes over to the center for a fee. I don't know if the center has a free shuttle.
I have walked from the Sheraton to the boardwalk during the daytime.

Thanks for the info. We probably won't be able to make it over there since we're taking a bus trip up and won't have our own transportation. I'm going with my mom and she can't do a lot of walking all at once because of surgery on her foot. But we'll see!
