Atlanta, I 75 South and black Friday...

We are leaving Cincinnati at 6am black Friday morning and heading south on I 75. That puts us through Atlanta around noonish. How bad is holiday travel on that day, on that route? Next dreaded question, stay the course on I 75 or take the bypass? We generally plow on through on I 75 and avoid the bypass. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

We have never driven through Atlanta on Black Friday before. However all the other times we drive along I-75 we always drive through Atlanta and never take the bypass, because in our opinion it's a lot easier that way.
