My friend is doing the atkins and its going well for her. For 6 days a weeks she follows the induction religiously but once a week she has a sweet and sour chinese takeaway with a small portion of rice (about half a cup). She has done this from day one and has lost a steady 2 pounds a week with 6 in her first week. Would she have done better and how bad would the sweet and sour be in relation to carbs. Or is she just plain lucky.
She does seem to stay with induction for the 6 days a week even though she has been doing it for about 5 weeks now.
