It has got to be one of the best places to eat because we went back again and again:teeth:

The first time we ordered Chicken Fajitas and they were yummy(this coming from a texan who sees a whole lot of fajitas this side of town). They were around $12.XX and it was a huge portion. They really were authentic style and delicious and comes with all the trimmings. As our appetizer we ordered the huge combo and boy was it huge. The wings and strips were delicous including the vege rolls. It came to about $14.XX.

The dessert was the best part!! we had the strawberry shortcake which comes in a huge glass and is enough for 3/4 people to share. It was about $7.XX.

The 2nd day we ordered fajitas, Chicken wings appetizer plate $5.XX, and a Chocolate brownie icecream which also came in the big glass for around 7.XX.

The 3rd day we ordered fajitas again(can you tell we love their fajitas), The nacho Appetizer which is so huge and filling and you guessed it, The Strawberry Shortcake dessert.

What I really liked about this place is the friendly waitstaff, the Atmosphere and I also saw on TV awhile back that this HRC is the testing place for new desserts, recipes, etc and they have the best chefs of HRC working there and train the new chefs. I also saw their kitchen on tv and they said that they have the highest cleanliness standards and food safety standards.

I have to try the one in Houston now:teeth:

The HRC is so much fun. We had a blast. BUT...we didn't know that on our check they included the gratuity and being so dark in there I didn't notice so our waitress ended up with the tip from the bill and even MORE of a tip from ME. We were a party of six.

Also went there on our trip. Agree, the athmosphere is fun, and the wait staff are happy. It's kinda like a big party.
Also had the Jumbo Combo, it's amazing, plus we had the nachos.
Line starts to form at noon, and by 1pm, it's out the door. Try to get there before noon if you plan on going for lunch.

Gotta say after the good reviews the HRC recieved we where excited about eating there but it was a disapointment server was surly also I had made a ps online with their new service but the staff never even honored it i was just put in the ps Q which my room key already gave ne access too I agree the food was nice decor amazing but not enough to make us return:jester:

Sorry to hear about your experience highlander. Mine could not have been anymore different.

Hope it gets better if you go back.

We love the Hard Rock Cafe and eat there every year several times. It is like a big party . Everyone is so friendly there...

we had a ball at the HRC. My one year old was dancing the entire time we were there.

We used the half price gift certificates, and we got our money's worth there for two adults and one child. Our bill was only .51 cents and $5 the other time because we got extra things.

Loved it!!!

Was anyone there when the ace ventura look-a-like was there running around to other's tables?

Didn't get there on our last stay, but I definitely want to try it our next trip. Thanks for all the reviews you guys!:D

I think the all Access Card does give you little edge over room key, at least that was how it went last time we were there in June. Sorry to hear that their online PS didn't work as they promised. Although I made a PS online, I forgot comfirm# and just used All Access Card and HRC staffs seem to give preference on seating with AAC. My Dh loved his Chicken/shrimp Fajitas.

I found that I'm not as cool as HRC servers though...

All Access Card all the way!

Mine is looking a bit worn out with all the usage it gets between hitting the Edinburgh outlet and then the Orlando one when we get the chance! We got seated at a great table within 5 minutes of deciding to walk up to the entrance, when the queue was around an hour for standby.

I've also got about £40 ($70) sitting on my card at the moment in credit, which I keep for whenever I'm in the bar in Edinburgh, and I fancy a dish of onion rings or a sandwich... keeps the beer money for the beer :teeth:

I think the best use I got out of it was during the Edinburgh Festival, when the standby queue was out the door and into the street, with the wait being around 2 hours - squeezed through the crowd, asked for a table:

"there's a 2 hour wait for all tables sir"
*flashes the card*
"ah, no problem sir, we'll get you a table right away, follow me"

Certainly impresses mates when you walk right past the queues and get seated straight away! Love my card...

So are all HRC's the same - or very similar? We thought we'd go to the City Walk one but there's other restaurants there that look good too and we have the chance to eat at the Hard Rock in Miami and also Key West on this holiday - so wondered whether to skip the Orlando one in favour of somewhere we won't find anywhere else on our travels. Would we be missing out bigtime?

Also wondered about Margaritaville as we can go to the one in Key West - but which would be better??

The HRC in Orlando is bigger than any of the others. As far as the food, we have eaten at several and the food is pretty much the same at all of them.

Margarittaville on the other hand, is much better in Key West. JMO. My family ate at the Margarittaville at CityWalk last July, then at the one in Key West in Feb. We weren't at all pleased with our meal at CW, but loved EVERYTHING that we got in KW. The only thing that we ordered the same was the conch fritters and they were much better in KW. The atmosphere is nice at both, but again, IMO, the CW atmosphere is what you'd expect at a theme park. The atmosphere at KW is much more relaxing, and is what you'd imagine that Jimmy Buffett was referring to when he wrote "Cheeseburger in Paradise." :rockband:

If I were making your decision, I would go with HRC in Orlando, and Margarittaville in KW. Sorry, I can't help you with Miami. We were there once, and probably won't return. Have fun on your trip!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

The HRC menu is generic, worldwide, with a few exceptions depending on the local availability of ingredients.

And thanks for the comment about the accent - if you were talking about me!? :teeth:

We always eat at HRC when we go to Florida. Dh enjoyed it so much last year, that he is requesting we eat there no less that twice on our upcoming trip. I must admit, their food is pretty good, and our service has always been top notch!
