ATA -- Madison WI/Chicago for Christmas/New Years!

I was just being very bummed that I missed it when SWA opened up their Christmas and New Year's Eve fares. Grumpily, I looked up my dates again, expecting to come up with the same $350++ fares I had seen before. To my amazement ATA had fares out of Madison for $237.50 and $180 from Chicago. $235 is the "going rate" out of Madison, so I snapped up that fare! It was "worth" the extra money for us to leave from home and not drive to Chicago and get a ride to the airport from family/friends. BTW, Expedia has the same fares, but adds on their service fee.

Yippie! The best thing is that it includes the coveted Sunday 1/2/05 return .

Replying to my own post. It looks like flights are back up to $570 per person . I wonder if it was a glitch in their system and the accidentally extended their current airfare sale to December/January. I guess I was at the right place at the right time!

Congratulations!
Glitch or not, you got the fare and that's what counts.
We fly ATA roundtrip twice a month and have had great luck with them. Be sure to use the online check in.
