At your job where is the silliest place someone works?

At my last job, we put someone in a similar position where everyone could see her. We decided to do so so that everyone could see her as a role model. She was a very dedicated worker and we hoped she'd inspire others to work as hard.

She did end up getting moved when she got her own private office with her promotion.

At my old job, we had a lady sitting on a folding chair with a desk made out of milk crates.
She was a bit odd - I think she liked where she sat. she surrounded her area with these weird teapots and pictures of unicorns, but she never drank tea.

Years ago, right after the federal gov't declared all federal buildings non-smoking, one of the guys that worked for me asked if he could set up a field desk outside to work. This guy was a smoker, and he set up this rickety, olive drab, field desk in the smoking area and chained smoked his way through paperwork that day. One of the most productive days I ever got out of him!! But I'm sure it must have looke bizarre to someone not in the know!
