At what point, can we in the Northeast conclude that this summer is a washout?

it is raining again tonight......took doggie out and came in and within two minutes it was pouring again......only knew cause doggie wanted to go out ONE MORE TIME......I feel like I am mildew.....and damp feeling.....one day the sun will come out.....TOMORROW .....hope so anyways.....

to Marymrg: We stayed in Ocean city,NJ from 7/5-711. It was absolutely awesome weather. Sun every day , nice breeze on the beach with cooler temps at nite. Perfect vacay weather. Been going there for 20 years.

I'm sorry. It's all my fault. After living in my house for over 20 years, we finally put in central air. Therefore, the temperature will never go over 90 again on Long Island. Just like the first time we bought a snow blower, we didnt get any heavy snow for 5 years.

Considering that last summer we only had 1 warm sunny weekend in May, June, and July - I think this summer is all ready a significant improvement.

I agree - this summer stinks! I hardly ever get to wear shorts and it's not been really warm enough to swim at Lake Sunapee on the weekends. I've forced myself to do it though!
