Gotta disagree with you on this one. I think this is actually one of the nicest summers we've had. Sure, we haven't had a lot of those 90+ degree days w/humidity, but I HATE those days anyway. This week we've had a lot of rain, but other than that, I think the weather's been beautiful.
It's only July 15th--I feel like summer is just beginning (kinda)
ITA.
We rarely have summers like this. We usually get hot and humid. I like hot and humid. I miss seeing the sun. The kids have been in the pool once since we opened it. This is a really weird summer.

If there's no snow outside and I can wear shorts, it's a good summer. I don't need to be in the 90's or the humidity.

please come back
But Id still prefer that weather over what we have had so far this summer. Its miserable... not summer at all. Thats why Im headed to FL!!!

I have loved my first summer here in the mountains of PA, it's been incredible. No humidity, lots of sunny days, sure we've had rain but the gorgeous days far out weigh them, it's really been beautiful.
I don't think I could ever go back to the super humidity again, I've worn shorts every day this summer, gone to the waterpark all with out that extreme sticky heat, I don't miss it one bit!![]()

I remember a bad summer like this the year we moved here from Pittsburgh - 1992.
We got married in August, 1992 and I think we got one of the best days of that entire summer. It was cool, but at least the sun was out.
we got our pool same week as you did gg,, its been not raining so we couldswim in it 5 times so far,, and it was yesterday before the tree trimmers could get here to trim the pecan limbs from over it... we wrot eit off as a wash out last week,,lol,, we even considered leaving the tarp over the pool yesterday..lolOriginally posted by HollyJoy
I'm in Maryland, and we've had an awesome summer so far! Last year was so darn rainy, then HOT HOT HOT! This year has been much milder and nicer. Where are you?
